start with the fan issue. Jumper it to see if its the fan motor or maybe the relay. Does the car overheat while highway driving or stationary/slow speed?

These cars are notorious for bearing and friction plates wearing out. Find the How for the MS3 and it will walk you through the process with the amazon part #. Its not even worth it to do just the bearing. the whole clutch kit is around $30 and includes the the bearing and friction plate. Takes about an hour to do with basic tools. You'll need a set of snap ring pliers as well. Word of advice, pay attention to the shims, a lot of the kits have the incorrect shims.
