Here's a quick pic of mine mounted. A tad low, maybe, but decent visibility and pretty secure.

I've accidentally left my v2 plugged in overnight a few times. Never killed the battery

So have I, I left my V2 on all the time. The V3 was able to drain it. It probably has a bigger draw because of the bigger screen and faster processor. Battery is new, I know it's not the battery.

ok so what about the stage one map? Is it worth the $, aside from all of real time monitoring the v3 allows?

I've read that it makes part throttle acceleration very difficult.

I've been running stage 1 for a month or so, and I haven't noticed that. I haven't done any MAF cal or tweaking yet, and it already seems pretty smooth off the shelf. (stage 1 91)

Cool, so what is your seat of the pants impression? do you have a CAI?

I understand that more or full boost is turned on in 1st gear with the new calibrations, true?

No intake here, pretty stock for power mods except the AP. It feels more responsive, and more aggressive, but not overly so. I haven't really beat on her yet, just wanted to dial in the MAF first.

Don't know about more boost in 1st, I haven't noticed that, but again, I haven't been driving too aggressively.
