Think I might wait for that Battlefield.. Getting bored with the Call of Duty. Have been playing BF2 for the past 3 months.

I agree. I have more fun with BF. I did like COD but it would get to the point where I would wanna throw my controller.

Some of the bigger BF maps tend to become sniperfests, but those same maps get more vehicles so doesn't get bogged in sniping too much.

For anyone playing on PC, is it just me or FPS suck badly on multiplayer? I have 3.2ghz core2duo with 4gigs ram, and ATi 5870. I can run Crysis 2 smoothly on med in 1920x1080, but not BF:BC2... weird

I agree with all of you on how linear MW3's multiplayer is. Honestly I think their campaign mode and story is amazing, can't wait to hit those Russian bastards back!!

I hear there are now planes in the game. Which for me that might be hard to drive. As long as BF:BC3 keeps the UAV Ill be golden. Untouchable on that shit.

MW was and always will be awesome for the campaign. BF's campaign game play was kinda weak. Same as the closely related Medal of Honor but at least MOH evoked some emotion towards the characters similiar to the MW campaign. I buy a game to see what developers can create within the campaign first, multiplayer second. But BF & MOH multiplayer is, I think, ultimately more rewarding than MW.

COD is getting old as fuck and I can't see paying full-price for what is essentially the same game/new story over the course of five iterations, but I never hear someone say "Hey, did you get the new copy of BF? What's your gamertag?"

BF3, however, is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better looking & better designed. In fact, it looks like they kinda looked over COD's shoulders when building it and said "How can we make this tired shit new again... AND better?"

Destructable environments ftw and it seems like that game engine might reduce/eliminate all the clipping you see in the COD series (ie. no more shooting a foot sticking through a wall.)

Bfbc2 is very cpu dependent, that dual core will have trouble I have an alienware m11x and can run crysis easily

Heh I'll probably play BF3 for the Multiplayer aspects..

I really don't care for campaign modes..never really had the capacity to sit there and read some of that terrible dialog...final fantasy games were about the only story games where I enjoyed reading the plot while playing it lol
