Default bearing noise vs wheel noise?

Hi all,

Just got a brand new set of Hankook Evo V12s on my OEM rims (MS6). First time I got up to highway speeds, noticed a droning sound from the back of the car. Trying to decide whether it's wheel noise that I'm not used to or a bad bearing.

- Noise gets louder at high speed; first noticeable around 40mph, louder around 70mph
- Noise goes from droning sound to almost howling sound
- Noise not associated with engine rpm (persists if I put in the clutch and let the engine spin down)
- Noise definitely louder in back of car; I can't localize it to one side or the other though.

Any thoughts how I might approach this?

Thanks!
