Can someone please measure OD of k04 and/or BNR S3 outlet neck?

I am guessing someone has a k04 and/or BNR S3 out of their car on the bench or something. I need the neck measurements of the cold side outlet to the intercooler; maybe 2-3" below where the boost tube would fasten to the turbo outlet; just above the boost fitting. I am guessing the OD is around 2.5" or so?

Actually I'm thinking it's closer to 2" now.

you mean the outlet from the compressor side, yes it's 2 inches OD.

FWIW, stock and aftermarket boost tubes are 2 and 1/8" ID on the cold side.

Awesome. I'm going to build a custom ebcs mount that will install aftermarket 3-ports in stock k04 ebcs location on BTs.

It's a great spot and I'll be able to keep vacuum lines very short like stock.

smallest part for the tube install is 2.125''
The edge to prevent the tube to slide out under boost is 2.2''
where the tube end larger parts (stopper) is 2.43''

if you want the effect of reduced vaccuum line you could remove the turbo pill from the turbo and just install it inside a vaccuum tube closer to the solenoid...

I'm curious if you had run a solenoid on k04, can you expect better results from the stock k04 with a 3port sol ?

I'm not making this mount for the k04; I'm focused on making it for my soon to be installed BNRS3. I just happened to know the neck sizes are probably about the same between the two. A lot of guys put their ECBSs on the battery box or firewall, requiring longer runs of vacuum line.

I don't think the stock 2 port EBCS has much of an issue managing the k04 so I doubt a 3 port would do much for it IMO.

i was just wondering because i already replaced the k04 and i don't want to put it back just for fun to see if i could get more out of it
Just playing with the rod lenght on my new gt28 make a big difference and the pill size was a pita to set but i'm still with the oem sol. on the garrett. some here seem to find more use of their k04 than i could expect to be possible so i was wondering if the sol. could be a clue...I have ordered one 3ports, i will see what it could do for my gt28
