Default CF hood question
does anyone have a speed6 with the corksport ram air front mount intercooler and a CF hood with the scoop on it. if so, do you have any problems with the rain getting into the airbox.

I would highly not recommend it, it would most likely suck up water and f your couch.

well i read of the corksport website forum that it would be okay to run both together. i was just seeing if anyone had any problem running both even tho corksport says its okay.

Well the hood scoop wouldn't serve a purpose if you have a FMIC. A lot of money wasted on non functional looks. Know what I mean?

The Corksport Ram-Air + FMIC replaces the TMIC with an SRI that routes through the hood duct rather than through the wheel well or the empty space where the stock airbox lives.

I would be a little concerned about running the hood scoop as an intake because of the possibility of sucking in significant amounts of water. You *could* do it, but it just strikes me as dangerous.
