Default corbeau forza 1 racing seat review

Link to my review video
Corbeau Forza 1 Mazdaspeed 6 Review

cliffnotes

pros:
1) cheap
2) constructed nicely
3) decent fabric
4) light weight (especially compared to stock)
5) fits stock location
6) overall very good for the price
7) holds you in very tight around corners. as far as holding you during lateral g's, certainly as met my criteria.

con:
1) steel tube design creeks
2) fits stock location but may run into very tight clearance issues
3) 100 + for a dual locking bracket with hellen keller welds

some food for thought
1) no more seat air bags/light will illuminate (whocares racecar)
2) somewhat less comfortable than stock (whocares racecar)
3) seat height is an inch lower
4) limited adjustment for shorter persons
5) seat beat holder may need adjustment (depending on preference)

part # for the brackets (39+ for dual lockers)

if the seat frame creaks, it's not secured properly.

however, i have an idea for you. see if corbeau can sell you the bracket without the rails drilled, so you can drill them yourself to fit the corbeau seat, but still mount to the speed 6 location

If they're anything like the CR1 I have, the padding will thin out and brace in the middle of your lower back will hurt like hell. If I had to do it over again, I'd save up for another week or two and buy a Sparco or Recaro.

Hey, I know I'm reviving an old thread, but how are these Forza's holding up to 3-4 years of use?

I'm thinking about getting a pair cuz they are really affordable, but I'd rather pay a little more if you guys think they are not worth it in the long run.
