Corks Sport Turbo Inlet pipes

I am looking to get a Inlet pipes and noticed Corksports in only $99 on their website. It comes with a silicone valve sleeve and you can have it Pc'ed black. But if you look at the other brands. SURE $179. CP-E $199, COBB $169 but they all have a silicone covering the entire pipe which, Corksport does not. Has anyone had any problems with the Corksport or should i just spend the extra on SURE? Not that it makes a difference but i do have a SURE SRI.

Thanks for the any input and Sorry I suck with the search. For some reason it just pulls a bunch of threads im not looking for. And I know its on my end! Sorry but still could use some good advice!

If you don't already have an intake, just get the whole SRI from Corksport, comes with the TIP, and is a good package deal.

I have the CS intake. The only thing I wonder about is the size of the pipe. It's pretty narrow, something like 2 inch diameter. Not sure if it makes that much of a difference, but I'm pretty sure the other brand's TIPs are larger diameter.

They are all large enough for the stock K04. Have you SEEN the size of the inlet on the stock turbo?

EDIT: BTW, I'm running a CS TIP.

I have the CS tip and I like the fact that it is made of metal with the metal vacuum nipples. The t-bolt clamps were the worst part of the install. You may also want to clean out the pipe before the install(mine had some little metal specks all over inside). It sounds great and seems to make the car run smoother.

Here is the skinny on TIP's.

The Corksport is available in 2 configurations, one with the valve cover vent located on the TIP and one without (like other manufacturers) and has a stock mounting point.

Sure and Cobb are silicone, but lack the factory mounting point.

CP-E is a true 3" silicone inlet with a factory mounting point.
(you will want to choose the smaller of the 2 intake options if you do not have a CP-E intake (Sure in your case)). It will then come with a 3" to 2.5" adapter.

Get the configuration with the valve cover vent. The new TSB for smoking turbo's has the TIP with this. Just a preventative measure.

Yea that is the one i want for $99. Just wanted to make sure since the price was so different that it was a good product! Thanks everyone for your inputs!

i haz cp tip, its great quality and price. cant go wrong. make sure you get the right version. if your intake has a recirculation hoes you need to get the tip without one.
