(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I am getting ready to replace the trans in the speed6 with a nice used one and the motor in it is still running good, compression test results are never good but it puts power down like crazy. Anyways I have recently seen Corksport added built Dankai blocks to their repertoire. Anyone have any experiences with this yet, or are they just so new nothing is known, I mean I'd have to imagine there are a few out there already. I have already bought remaned and rebuilt 2x, my next route was just going to be OEM longblock but I'm curious about these motors. I have always used Corksport parts in my Speed6 and I absolutely love them. I currently have their injector seals, ebcs, fuel pump internals and their turbo which I believe their turbo is why the engine in the car still runs like it does because it performs so well it adds enough compression to have it run decent. So anyways I love their parts. If Corksport is listening or reading and is interested in having a tester or a guinea pig willing to give an honest review upon installing and break in and then updates further down the line I would love to be part of that. I understand things have to be paid for so if there's a discount that could be worked out that'd be great. My main caution is that as far as it seems no one else has one yet or has reviewed it if they do and I don't see anything about their mileage and how well they hold up? Secondly are their blocks prepared with a torqueplate?

| Not Ranked : 0 score It's a block by a builder who reviews tolerances. Corksport hasn't always had the best quality control due to outside suppliers fuckups but they have amazing customer service and have always been stand up. They have a warranty on their blocks which is awesome, I wouldn't hesitate to go with them. There's a few out there in the wild people have bought but haven't seen any online forum reviews on their blocks. They do come with their camshafts so you can expect to make more power everywhere.

| Not Ranked : 0 score i'm in the market for a motor, and have many questions but corksport was completely unresponsive to my initial inquiry, maybe you'll have better luck getting info out of them. with no history of building engines, and an unwillingness to communicate, it's hard to seriously consider them when the bill is $7500-$9000.

| Not Ranked : 0 score ^ Did you try calling on the phone? I've called twice now to inquire on parts and someone always picked up by the second ring, was very friendly and personable and willing to answer any questions the I had.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I usually email them and have no problem in getting a response in less than 24hrs. Their customer service for me has always been awesome and everyone here will pretty much agree. They're about the only vendor you don't have to fight with to warranty shit, recalls their products if issues are found, etc. without a community upset to make it happen.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Might want to give Jordan Keefover of Overspeed Motorsports in NOLA a call. Lots of guys running his builds and he is top notch. Will not be as expensive as CS, and has a history of solid reliable builds. There is also EBTEC, and Speed Solutions that are doing great things! Good luck with whoever you choose.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I second Jordan @ Overspeed. Running his oem reman longblock with 10k miles on it and has been nothing but sunshine and daisies!! I bought the longblock 2nd hand from a gentleman that often gets motors rebuilt by Jordan but it hadn't been installed or ran yet and I paid 2600 bucks shipped to my door. Jordan was also really helpful with the break in |
