DCR Pro Series Turbo Manifold...

Okay, i just broke up with my girlfriend and canceled our vacation so i can buy this mani today!











Just kiiiiiding, but seriously, the idea crossed my mind...

The manifold looks great but it looks like that bottom runner would get in the way of the turbo, idk if its just the angles of the picturs or not. Did you hook a turbo up to this and connect it to a downpipe. Also do all the turbo upgrades fit from the gt28-gt35?

Looks like it would be fine to me. It's those first two runners you need to worry about buy they go straight up it looks like.

I'll buy this as soon as it's available. Amazing

The manifold looks great and all. But I thought the problem that needs to be addressed is fuel and not a bigger manifold and more boost. I know DCR is working on that too. But this seems like the chicken before the egg?

They just about have that addressed give them another month or so.

We are working on this also, we are going to have a full line of DCR Mazdaspeed parts comming for your cars. Just hang in there we are working on it.

Questions:
With the tube pairings, could this be set up with cylinders paired for a divided turbine like EVOs & BMW use?
Looks like big primaries. What rpm are those designed for?

Definitely no WG in that price, but you get your choice of turbo flange turn down pipe as stated before (stock, T3, T4).

This is the sexiest manifold Ive seen for this platform and in comparison better looking then many other platforms aftermarket manifolds...

as soon as there is a MS6 manifold ready to sell I'll be buying it up ASAP!

its hard to say. im hoping in a couple weeks we'll have a motor to go back inside.... big numbers will be a climb from there. we have to make parts for the general community, that will also work for my setup. that is a challenge in itself.

one big custom job with a ton of relocations isnt gonna be practical long term for the guys who go piecemeal.

I see what you mean. That manifold is a great start. I visited the DCR website they have a link for ms3 but nothing on it. I will probably refresh it daily until I see the manifold on there. What turbo are you mating up to it? I probably should take some time to read some of your older posts to see exactly what you have been doing since you started this monster build.

On topic...we have the New Tial 38mm Gate fitted and will weld it into place tomorrow. Its nasty and has priorty flow. We fitted the stock turbo and downpipe today and it was a perfect fit. O2 sensor cleared the #3 primary nicely. We then fitted a Gt35r and a Precision 6262 with no clearance problems at all. We later tried a huge Precision 72mm and cleared as well. Turbo sizing and combined manifold design is allowing for pretty much anything to fit. I will post more pictures tomorrow as we just worked all day trying different turbos and making sure evrything is perfect before final tig welding over the weekend.

BTW, thanks for the props and I apologize for taking so long to start posting. I really was just focused on the R&D untill we had a fulfilled plan of attack on this platform. Randy was starting to get a little down as we were slow to get everything figured out but remained confident in the outcome. Your goals and our goals are the same here and we will get there by working together with you guys. Here is a idea of just some of the projects we are working on as well. Mazdaspeed is now the most important one.

I know I said I was gonna wait on this, but I think it might be a sign that I was contacted today about a set of one-off 1000rr race pistons I posted for sale over a month ago. $1500 - 3% Paypal bullshit - $955 = an extra $460 in my pocket AND a DCR manifold.

I'm in for that price pending sale of pistons.

im selling 5 at that price, and theres still a couple left.... darrell gave me a bit of a cockeyed look when i told him i was gonna let them go out the door under a grand.

so final pricing has not been determined....i have a feeling that when we dyno this thing the price is gonna go up.

You guys really do make a shit ton of power on any platform!!!! Right now it's a 347 on spray, but after owning my first turbo car (MS3) I'm hooked on Boost!!!
