Sorry can't edit after 2 min. I was thinking a good example might be Summer vs Winter Gas. It's a small enough change that it won't break anything but it will affect certain parameters.

-just re-read that and I'm having a hard time understanding it. If it doesn't make sense let me know. I'm at work right now and don't have a lot of time to type.
Thanks
I re-read it too, lol. Why would you want to alter the PSI? In anyway, you CAN alter boost, by MBC or EBC.

Think of this as a regular PCM update from your dealership, that you paid for, and drove off with a smoother, faster, safer ride.

Like the GIAC and APR tunes, our software will easily support any octane 91 and above. higher octane, better results, obviously.

IE: the Bentley continental on the same reflash gained I think 30hp on race fuel vs 93octanne, I think?

Stage 2 software will not be available for a few months, as Piasini is very busy with their extensive application list, they don't have time to custom develop reflashes for me at all times (for both Speed6/Speed3 models).

I don't know if I already posted this, but those who purchase Stage 1 will have the opportunity and priority, to upgrade to Stage 2 at exceptional pricing, once it is available.

Well if will allow the ECU to set the boost to 18 psi, no one has to bother running a Boost Cut Defender or Map Clamp Pat!

It will be less than any PNP EMS system available with the exception of the Unichip. Pricing will be similar to Unichip (Speed6 only).

The thing with unichip is it is costly to tune for each mod you add, it is hard to find a tuner, and you won't be able to control throttle, doesnt hold boost as well.

Holding 18lbs to redline is not yet feasible, but we have been able to hold boost much better than any other tuning solution.

When we release our Stage 2/2+ with the MrlilGuy CDFP, we will be working to hold boost as high possible , with fuel pump specific tuning in the software.

Ya it's around 700-800 for unichip I thought? How discounted will it be for people going from Stage 1 to 2 etc. Rough estimate?

if this was around $400 or so i could see doing it but that price just seems like much to me especially since its not a specific tune for certain mods.

No idea on the going from Stage 1 to 2, but it will be as low as we can.

Being the only option available, and considering they are charging $890 as their intro price Overseas, and $1000msrp, this is a pretty fair estimate.

Still waiting to hear from Piasini Engineering on possible price reduction.

i would only assume it would get cheaper as you go on, i mean if you are doing them then you would only have to by one flashing hardware tool and then if its the same map over and over there really isn't much more too it.

^ Sorry, let me see if I can rephrase my question,

The Ecu learns and adapts depending on changing variables to try and maintain certain values.

While learning will it eventually override the flash to try and correct to the original values?

Or will it learn towards the flashed values as they replaced the stock values as the new "orignal" values?

Thanks, and sorry for any confusion.

from the way i see it is that the flash over writes the stock values so now any learning would be off the new values so it has no way of knowing what the stock ones were to begin with.

You're confusing a flash and a piggyback. The flash replaces the stock values with new "original" values.

You are replacing the oem values, so there is no way for that to happen.

Thanks for answering the questions

It is correct. And if one even chooses, they can install a zerod out Piggyback on top of a reflashed ECU. I don't know what they'll get BUT, there are some things a Piggyback can do, that a reflash cannot, like Map switching (most don't need this), Meth Injection tuning (not required).

I am not sure if throttle control will enable FULL boost to redline, but we have seen 15lbs at 5500rpm on a 16lb tune! remember, we will be incorportating throttle control in the future, maybe the first ones to have this available, so it seems

Revo and APR start their base Stage 1 reflashes at $599 and $699 as well. They are cometing with GIAC, Forge, and several others out there. Our pricing is not that different at all and is VERY reasonable.

This is the one and ONLY option, so the company who has created this software and made reflashing possible is substantial.

We all wanted a way into the ECU, well.... we're in

A time goes, MORE possibilities and capabilities will arise. We hope to pretty much have complete control of the motor.

Working on it, it should be available in the coming few months, if not sooner.

I want to thank the few who have already gotten on board with this offer. These first people will have priority to updates, upgrades, etc.

The engines in a Speed3 vs Mazda3 MPS are exactly the same... an Aussie/Auro reflash would yield the same exact results as posted in the beginning of this thread.

The datalogs anf dynos are in that post as well

The engines in a Speed3 vs Mazda3 MPS are exactly the same... an Aussie/Auro reflash would yield the same exact results as posted in the beginning of this thread.

The datalogs anf dynos are in that post as well

seeing 15psi when dialing in 16 is not a big deal. I do that right now on the stock boost control system. Make that 15 hold till 6500 and you got something.

Really...
According to Dyno4mance tuning sessions, they gained more hp at 17lbs than at 19lbs on several cars, which led me to that conclusion.

Keep in mind, if you flog the car on the dyno without proper cool down between runs, you will get heat soak. This is something manf's constantly do " flog " their cars on Dynos. Not good for testing and its certainly not good for numbers either.

Was the car from that dyno running an aftermarket intercooler?

Hmm, again, pretty interesting. Rican may want to chime in, or in another thread to try and keep it on topic, but it was his car the tuning was done on.

He has the Corksport FMIC I think.

With my boost controller i'm holding 17psi for a bit(midrange) then it drops around 15-16psi around 5900rpms...

I am interested as well in this. It would be nice to have a extra "1000" rpms in every gear
