So, I contacted Forum Wars asking them why the mazdaspeed platform doesnt get any love on their Forum Wars competitions.

I got a response back yesterday that their GTi had backed out and they asked if I knew anyone that'd like to go up against a 220hp Si -- Well, of course I jumped to the occasion and said ... <---- this guy right here would do it.

So, Forum Wars will be getting in contact w/ me shortly and we'll see where it goes from there.

Yes it's true. gtarman77787 contacted me about our upcoming TV shoot/competition in Houston Texas. Its Season 2 of Royal Purple's The Forum Wars.

Based on his motivation and the fact that there were no GTi's willing and able to step up to disboiflaco from 8thCivic.com we are ready to have you guys compete.

The basics of the contest are 1/4 drag race, solo road course (autocross type), and a 0-100-0 or slalom race. The event will be held in Houston Texas on Sunday 1/9/11 at Royal Purple Raceway.

The rules are pretty simple. It's a head to head shootout between two cars. The cars must have tire treadwear utqg 140 or higher. No tuning between rounds. One driver for all events.

We are looking forward to having you guys as part of The Forum Wars. The winner will receive Royal Purple Products, a Magnaflow Exhaust, Eibach Pro-Plus kit, Mothers Detail Kit, G-Teck and more...

Danny, borrow someone's AP for this, a 220 whp Si is not something to mess with in your nearly stock car. Yea, its only 220 whp.....but his car weighs like 275 lb's less than yours and is easier to launch.

True true, guys like udumkid really knew how to drive the si. I thinks its the lack of tq that actrully helps out the si. U dont spin as bad, and our cars are kinda useless in 1st 2nd,compared to the si. THATS WHAT HURTS US!...I mean the 300lb weight difference comes into play as well.

well if the si is 220whp or hp, its not stock.... 220 whp hes running i/e/h/tune atleast..220 bhp, i/h would suffice. Amazon is right, those si's as funny as it is, cannot be under estimated, sure on straight line after 3rd gear, well destroy em, but thier nimble cars, handle very well, got good gearing, and with a skilled driver who knows how to wring that tq-less k20, it can cause ya trouble on a track with alot of turns.

Your prabaly running 20-25 whp more than stock with testpipe and intake Danny, I would do my homework on mr si driver, and start getting some track sessions in before its go time.

Well ill let Amazon go into details...but I skimmed through few pages of his car, he has gutted the living shit out of it!!...about 500lb..hes torn in all apart, major suspension mods and bolt on power with skunk2 mani...just from what Ive seen..yeah 220 whp prab close...hes light as hell though..if he knows how to drive..ummm oh oh....I gotta take off and run some errands..but umm fuck...our car mod for mod and stock for stock is straightline MUCH faster!!!..pulsl way fuckin harder, but that alone is not going to win this race.

Checking in here real quick...yeah..Amazon is fuckin right. That car is no longer anyting close to stock!!!...its k24 swap for most part..he did major work to it..prab. weights around 2300-2400lb...Hes a skinny little kid, but looks like he knows what hes doing.

Hes got his intake, where I always wanted my intake on my si, away from the motor!!..nice skunk IM....looks like k24 bottom end with k20 hear..I didnt see any cams..or tuning..Amazon you see anything??? But regardless 220 whp would be very conservative number.

In the event that this is not an elaborate attempt at trolling someone, I would be willing to give it a go. Im Stage 2 and ran a 13.7 1/4 with just an intake (also, got a 2.1 60' on all season tires) Haven't run again since tuning though...

Another thing to consider. We are known to be the EXCEPTION to the retardedness of ALL Mazda forums on the net. We have a different style, destroy vendors reputations when warranted and hold forum operation to a higher standard.
