After reading some of these, I feel like I really should contact my insurance company (Nationwide) this week. I'm one month shy of 25, male, and paying $215 per month for full coverage with a $1000 deductible (I had to raise it up from $500 because a stupid-ass ticket for turning right on a red light resulted in three points on my license and a $365/mo insurance rate). I've had four tickets in my entire driving life (two of them in 2011 which explains the rate jump) and no real accidents other than a hit-and-run situation with my MS3 while it was parked in front of my house. I've done quotes recently with companies such as Progressive, E-Surance, and others... all of which ended up being $130/mo or less WITH tickets on my record whereas Nationwide takes advantage of me since I've been a policyholder for almost seven years now.

$215/mo with a $1000 deductible is nonsense. When I first got this car, I was hovering around the $170-$180 mark but I took the hit thinking being 23 and male caused the rate to be that high.
