I would call them to get that fixed. Would suck if you totaled the car and they try to give you the value of a Protege, and claim you never had coverage for a Mazdaspeed 6.

It is my track car, if I total it on the track I doubt they will pay for it.

33 and 28 no tickets, 06 Speed6 and POS '93 Sentra, full coverage + comprehensive and $500 deductible on both.

$71 a month, esurance. 21st Century would have been a tiny bit cheaper ($67), but I had already prepaid. Liberty Mutual was fucking us for $72 a month for bare-ass minimum coverage on just the Sentra, and that was with a bundled discount w/homeowners plus work discount for wife. I didn't think anything of it because that's what my insurance cost when I was 25 and I didn't shop the fuck around.

Shop the fuck around, people.

Found this thread looking for advice on adjusting auto insurance coverage.

$2400/yr for 2011 MS3 and 2004 Mazda3i. AAA, California. The MS3 is on my policy (started almost two years ago) with $500 comp/collision deductibles, and the Mazda3 is on my mom's policy (it was my high school car) with $1000 deductibles.

~$1600 for the MS3/yr
~$800 for the Mazda3/yr

MS3 will be less upon next renewal, since I've changed driving frequency to "pleasure" instead of "work/commute". I'm contemplating bumping up my deductibles to $1000 to lower my annual payment some.

Holy crap!! Might be time to look at other options my dude. I pay like $160 a month for my speed, my wife's 2010 3si, and my gigantic jeep wrangler. I'm also married and own my own house.

There's probably some adjusting I can do as far as my policy goes. How old is your MS3 and what state do you live in? I did some research before I got into my MS3, and still found that AAA was the best bang for the buck for me. Besides, AAA has never given our family any trouble when it came to claims. You probably got the hook up with a multi-policy discount or something.

Not really sure, the wife pays it.
I think she said it went up maybe 5 dollars a month when I traded the Saturn Sl2. My guess is that it's less than 70 a month.

when I first got the car, I had the car assigned as work/commute and est. annual mileage 12k. My premium was $1800/yr; dropping it to 6k miles/year designated as pleasure dropped it to $1550/yr lol.

No way I'm hell I drove only 6k miles this year either. I'm at 32k in a year and a half LOL. I wonder if reporting my true mileage would get me a lower premium since I'm approaching the high mileage club rather quickly

$140 a month for the 3 and the miata full coverage for me and the wife. Few tickets on her end and a SR22 on my end.

we even got renters insurance by paying an extra 200 up front and lowering our payments by like 10 bucks.

Mercury really hooked us up with an offer we couldn't refuse

also I pay $240 a year on my SV650
