Sometimes you just have to call and ask for all the discounts you qualify for, shop around and bundle renters or home owners insurance. You can also take a defensive driving class and qualify for another discount, but if you get a ticket and you would have had the option for defensive driving you won't be eligible for a period of time due to the fact you took it to get an insurance discount. I can't remember what the time frame was.

I hope some of you look into paying an extra 20 bucks or so a month to get a 50 collision /0$comprehensive deduction as well, it's worth it.

In one year my wife went through 3 windshields, 2 fog lights and someone broke into the car. All combined totals was between 4-5k. I never paid a dime and my insurance premiums never went up. Devide 20 into 4k and that's Alot of savings there. So basically if someone else backed into your shit, broke into it, dinged the shit out of it. You won't have to come out of pocket or have to look at that shit and wish you had the money to fix it. File a claim, take that shit on into the body shop and go about your marry little way, not to mention you get to Jeff Gordon the rental around town in the mean time. Win fucking win.

Just call and talk to them and remember you're the customer, try to haggle or at least improve your situation . of you've got a bunch of wrecks and tickets, I doubt you'll get far but, it's worth a shot call other companies.
ItsNox likes this.

$120 a month / Aviva. 33, clear record, multi lines of business. Only car. $0 deductibles.

Not the greatest, but I only pay $41 a month to insure my house with the same company. So. Balances nicely.

I pay 816 (1000 deductible) per year for full coverage with Wawanesa. NS Canada. 45 with perfect record. After seeing someone else only paying half of that with them I may have to complain. Ticks me off to be treated like that. His car is a 2012 as well and mine is a 2007. That's an even bigger kick in the nuts.

Just swapped to esurance and paying $78 a month for full coverage $500 deductible on my 2010 ms3 and 2007 Mazda 3.
That includes med pay, roadside assistance, and rental coverage. Used to pay $160 through erie and dropped that shit.

My fucking insurance just went up. Was paying $68.00/month full coverage and $500 deductible. Now I'm paying $88.00/month. Called insurance (Unigard), they could not give an answer as to why. Called to other insurances progressive, state farm, geico,.... Nobody could quote me a lower price. I have not had a ticket in over 20 years. Fucking blood suckers. (rant over)

Try out esurance. I was quoted $47 for full coverage on the speed AND liability on my mz3.

I'm at 168 a month. Full coverage but like a 2k deductible. I guess it could of been worse given that I'm 18 :p.

I'm 26 and one speeding ticket from 2012. This is the cheapest I can find.

27, College Grad, Austin, TX

Fully covered USAA, Comp/Collision (500/500) and uninsured (250), 30 day rental, roadside and reported 12,000 miles per year bundled with renters insurance I'm at $105 a month.

No tickets, (reported to DMV) 1 accident covered by accident forgiveness.

Some d-bag backed into my car, didn't leave a note, just left a volleyball sized dent. USAA covered me under uninsured on that one. Only had to pay the $250 deductible. Which was nice since they sent me to Caliber and paid them another $1200 for repairs.

Damage included new bumper cover, and left-rear taillight. Pretty sure he/she was in a truck with a tow hitch still in it, or some kind of trailer. Only thing that made sense.

27, $125 for full coverage. $500 deductible + roadside assistance & 30 days of rental car. Handful of speeding tickets & 2 accidents of my fault. Nothing in the past 3 years. Nationwide Insurance Co.

Crazy thing is I had a 2006 Audi A4 2.0T that got totaled. When i went to swap coverage to the MS6 the rate came out EXACTLY the same. To the penny. I had the girl rework the numbers 3 times.

I pay 277 for full coverage with $1000 deductable. Im 21 with 3 speeding tickets and an accident. All when I was 18 so they are all getting ready to drop off. Im tired of paying almost as much for insurance as I do for the car payment.
