Hpfp internal/Cobb ap question

So I installed my pump internals today, and have a question. With the ap should I change the tune to the stage 1+ tune which is stock everything with upgraded fuel pump? I did a few wot runs and when the engine hits redline I get a bit of fuel cut, is this normal? I never really went wot to redline on stock internals so not to sure. I would figure with upgraded fuel pump it shouldn't have fuel cut right? unless I have to chage to the stage 1+ tune so the ecu recognizes the upgraded pump.. And looking on my ap the stage 1+ says all stock with tbe.. But on cobbs website stage 1+ is all stock with upgraded hpfp. Do I have to download the map on cobbs website to get it? Sorry door the long post just wanna do things right.. Ima about to buy my cs fmic next week so I want all this squared away..

Thats what I had thought, but Cobb says otherwise... I really dont know because I had intake on already and went with that map.

Well I guess I meant to say stock stage 2. But yeah if you look at for both ms3 and ms6 they a have a ots for upgraded hpfp and everything else stock.. But on my ap they don't have it there, stage 2 is stock everything with tbe.. So I'm wondering if i have to download that map.. But as far as the fuel cut goes being the I wasn't paying to the rpms and looking at the ap, I think I was hitting the rev limiter , I did take it to like 6700rpms,lol.. Even tho it's pointless to rev that high on the mzr.. But my fuel pressure stayed above 1600psi throughout so I'm guessing it's ok. But im waiting for my cousin to come by with his laptop so I can do some datalogging, my comp is dead..

There are stage 1 and stage 2 maps for stock intake. Just go to cobbs site and look for stock intake and download the map.

To run stage 2 you need at least one of the stock cats deleted. So either dp or test pipe, or gutted oem cat.

what makes you think you have fuel cut? Are you losing fuel pressure?

You are also going to need to up your commanded fuel psi in atr as well.

During the wot run I made I hit like 6700 rpms and felt the car stutter a bit, but I was trying to look at the fuel pressure on the ap and didn't even figure it might have hit the rev limit.. I figure the what it was fuel pressure never dropped below 1600..

Watch those harsh words, I'm a very sensitive guy, lol.. but I spoke with Cobb tuning and they said any stage 2 tune involves a having a dp or deleted cat. So thanks for looking up the ms6 info for me..

then they should update their info on the AP maps page to reflect what you are saying... but as long you get it running right, thats all that matters i suppose. at the very least you now have the location for the maps when you get to that venture

Just the various stg1 stg2 safe mode and valet...

OP is all stock minus hpfp; so according to combs maps he would use stg2 91/93 whichever octane he runs, however; Op contact Cobb and they said stg2 is for DP... So the map reads wrong according to the site

The cobb discussion forum talks about whats required for stage 2. Just need one oem cat removed so either dp or test pipe or gutted oem cat is okay.

Exactly, they need to update the list.. Cause looking at the chart it says nothing about dp or deleted cat on any stage 2 tune.. But if you download the map and look at the tune on the ap itself stage 2+ has tbe on it. So it's pretty confusing.. But Cobb said they did need to include the dp on the tune chart to make things simpler..
