Installed HPFP and now car won't start

Installed the AutoTech internals yesterday and fired it up before I put everything back together and it started/ran fine for a minute or so. I also cleaned my MSCAI filter so I had my wheel off, put my heat shields back on from when I put my DP, installed my SU rmm and rotated my tires. Did nothing electrical since it started last and after I finished all that it won't start. All the normal dash lights and chimes are there when I turn the key but it doesn't try to turn over. I took the IC back off and checked all connectors, disconnected the battery again to try and reset it, and visually checked the fuses, no luck..... I know this might be kinda vague but any ideas?

Will it turn over or there is no power? If so you need to have your foot on the gas petal and turn it over at the same time because you have no fuel to pump into the block its almost like your priming the car.

No, I have full power the engine just will not turn over. I was able to start it right after the HP internals so the fuel should be back and that's not the problem anyway. Almost something to do with clutch or starter?????

Is there a lot of clicking when you turn it over?

well it will start but u didnt pressurize it dumb dumb. disconect ur coi packs with 1 yellow clip and crank the motor a few times check pressure with AP and then when u have about 500 it should be able to start

No, like I said, eveything sounds normal under the hood when the key is turned on. It's just like the starter won't engage.

it it sounds normal while ur cranking thats the starter turning the motor... ur fuel pressure isnt there... u should have read all the steps

No, it is NOT cranking. I mean all the little ticks and buzzs that you hear when you turn the key to the on position. But after that nothing happens when you puch the clutch and try to start it...... nothing.

ah well hmmm thats random... fuel pump shouldnt have anything to do with the starter.

Plus, like I said (again)... I've already had it started since I installed the FP internals. I basically just buttoned things up tonight.

Ok it just sounds like there was not enough fuel to put in the block and now it starved itself. Once you get that thing turned over have your foot on that petal for a while so that fuel can get flowing.

Everything I was near.... I didn't check the starter so I might jack it up again and check those cables.

check em if that doesnt work... take off a battery cable and leave it off for like 10 minutes... put it back on and then disconnect the coil packs and try cranking over a few

I tried that.... I guess I'll put it up in the air and see if the starter cable is loose. Read that might be the case in a couple other threads even though I wasn't even close to it.

i'd check any grounds in that area, i believe there is one right by the fuel pump that maybe you are missing.

That's what my buddy said too but I can't believe I would have accidentally pulled something off AFTER we already had it running once. I almost think it has to be a fuse or something. I gotta get her running soon b/c I have a track day at Mid-Ohio this Friday!

It was that little connector on the starter. Crammed my hand down in there from up top and jiggled around a little to free some corrosion. Fired right up after that. Just coincidental timing I guess. Freaked me out.... on with the track day!
