(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Just a quick question to all you speed 6 owners. What's the best fitting 3 inch intake without moving anything? I've read some threads where people said they fit in such intakes without touching their ecu or battery and Im just curious. I have been looking at the Corksport 3inch intake, any thoughts? Is it possible to fit it without any relocation of the earlier said parts or No? Also I know there's an intake thread, I read some of it and it seemed more like a review thread, so I wasn't sure if this belonged there or not, so yea.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm not sure what you mean by best fitting. It either fits or it doesn't. ECU interference is MS3 noise.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Ok I dont mean fit, as in is it going to bolt in, I know if it's made for the speed6 99% probability is its going to fit. My question though is whats the best fitting 3inch intake without doing any relocating of anything. And from what I read your saying is as far as relocating anything thats horseshit or nicely put unnecessary. And yes I would never pay 600 for a 3inch TIP and intake thats retarded. Anyways I'm looking at the 3inch Corksport intake, Will from PD tuning, who's my tuner said it's a nice one because it has a true 3inch inner diameter as he said some that claim it, necessarily true 3 inchers on the inside. So thanks fasterthenyou, I appreciate the info, although i think you know what I meant by them fitting as you followed it by ecu relocation is ms3 noise. But i appreciate it all the same because it tells me I dont have to worry about relocation. I love my speed forum guys. It took me a lol bit to get used to all the razzing at first but you couldn't wanna be part of a better group.

| Not Ranked : 0 score The JBR intakes are measured at ID of MAF housing too. Hence the Tru 3" or Tru 3.5" name. Nearly all 3" intakes should fit without having to change to a 51r battery. The silicone intakes are thick walled, so they take up quite a bit more real estate than their metal cousins. My Tru 3.5 silicone is massive -> 51r required. 3" metal intake should be no problem.

I can attest to this. I relocated my ECU to the top of my fuse box. Not sure if it applies to you MS6 guys but there's a thread here somewhere showing you can keep the ECU where it is with a little modification to the battery box.

| Not Ranked : 0 score JBR Tru-3.0" silicone version. I didn't have to relocate anything on my MS3, I'm pretty sure it's going to be the same with a MS6 as the JBR recommendations are exactly the same for both car models.
