(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/...968273282.html A few things to note: #1 - I am going to handle most if not all of the engine rebuild or swap #2 - Not looking to turn it into a 400hp racing machine, but I am not opposed to internal upgrades to support a stronger, longer lasting engine #3 - If the hail damage created paint cracking on the roof, I'm probably going to pass; I can remove small dents, but body work is not my strong suit Since I have been here before with a unmolested MS3 Gen 2, I know what to look for in terms of previous modifications not being called out in the post. It does seem unrealistic for someone to have a Gen 1 with 110k and no mods other than CAI, but not impossible. It's highly unlikely that rod knock happened to a stock engine with 110k on it without either being abused hard or modded without HFPF internal upgrades and a tune. Possibly altitude + CAI without HFPF created knock? Last edited by Mclovin80; 09-06-2019 at 06:09 AM. |
