Default Looking for the Mazdaspeed 6 service manual and wiring diagram

I'm currently working on a project that involves reverse engineering the ECU and it would be helpful if I had some information about the ECU and various sensors to look at. I've looked around for hours and all I can find is dead links and only the first 1000 pages of the service manual. I'm not sure exactly what sections I will need from the wiring diagram but I at least need sections 01-40 and 01-50 from the service manual. Is there any place I can download this or are they in the VIP section? I'd rather not spend $200+ for the manuals when I'll only look at them once.

Also: If I find these manuals and finish this project, tuning will become (much) cheaper

Does the VIP section have both the FULL service manual for the Mazdaspeed 6 and the full wiring diagram?

Also, how much do I have to donate to get VIP? And for how long does it last?

There are several manuals for the 6, I haven’t looked threw them so I can’t say if the are complete, I downloaded a MS3 service manual and a wiring diagrams and looked pretty complete to me.
$20 for a year.

Is there anywhere we can follow along (e.g. Github) ?

Just picked up an MS6 and I would like to directly modify the ECU. Was thinking of also digging into it.

I just made a repository for it but I won't have any code for a while:

https://github.com/Altenius/MazdaspeedRE/

I added a dump of the ROM from the Mazda 6 MPS which is identical to ours; as far as I know the only difference is the tables. I'm currently digging through the dump looking for a way to write/read the flash memory over the CAN bus. If you're interested in helping I can send you some information I've found so far.

tried to send this by PM but I don't have enough posts to use that function. Sorry about the temporary thread jack!

Thanks for the github link. Don't know how much help I will be but eager to help where possible.

Great to see you already know the uC. I have a JTAG adapter that I believe I could use to dump my ECU memory into a hex file.

Do you want to start a new thread on this forum about it or communicate privately via email? I'm obviously new here but if it's anything like other forums, I am sure there are guys on here that can help move it along.

I started a new thread here: Creating an open source tuning solution for the MS6

I have a spare ECU I bought to trace sensor connections. I was going to use it to dump the ROM but I ended up finding the MPS rom somewhere else.

Guys, please consider the small donation to get VIP membership and unlock all of that info. I don't know the site owner from Adam's proverbial house cat, but have found access to the hidden technical sections and manuals to be invaluable. Membership starts at $20 if I recall and last for one year at a time. Anything you download, of course, is yours forever.

Then you can download the manuals and have access to very useful information you can't see right now. VIP is hugely beneficial to me and to anyone that intends to own these cars for any length of time.
