(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Lets talk about the weather conditions and the car we are testing... Ambient temp outside the shop was 80-83Deg during most of our testing and a tad bit hotter, not much inside (I heard it was 60% humidity???). This was a DynoJet dyno if that makes a difference for some. Our fan setup placed 1 fan infront of the car and he had an elevated fan on top of that pointing down into the engine bay. Our test car is a 2008 Mazdaspeed3 with a CPE catted DP and the Mazda3Mods prototype inlet and SRI. The first graph will explain what most want to see... Highest FMIC vs Highest TMIC run... Here you can see a gain of 20.3whp and 19.7 Ft/lbs Here we start into some heak soak testing so people can see why they are REALLY buying the product. First we will look at the heatsoak with the FMIC: You can see there is about 2 minutes of time from the 1st to 2nd run. The car stayed running during all this time. We lost about 3.2whp and 7.1 ft/lbs. After these 2 runs, we had some computer print out issues and it lost our next runs, the car stayed running the most of the time (was off for about 10 minutes) and as you can see the 3rd run took place about 30 minutes later. From there, we see a loss of 3.5whp and 5.9ft/lbs. In total from the first run to the last on this sheet, we lost 6.7whp and 13ft/lbs. Here is the graph: Next we will look at heatsoak on the factory TMIC: You can see that from the first run to the last run, there is only about 1 minute between each run...From run1 to run3 we lost a total of 20.1 whp and 44 ft/lbs. Here is the chart: Now we will look at the Lowest TMIC dyno vs the Lowest FMIC dyno just for kicks.... difference: 33.6whp and 50.6 ft/lbs Here is the chart: I would like to thank Tim for letting us beat on his car and waste half a tank all day. Greg for the dashhawk. And Mario and many others for drink runs/tool runs. Thanks!!! GB for the FMIC: GI: GB For Mazda3Mods MS3 FMIC KIT |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Yes this was 2.5" piping. I won't bother telling of the drops or anything yet, most don't believe me without the proof. I have the DH logs up tonight I hope. Thanks! |
