(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  metal wires poking inside air intake hose? I was messing with my James Barone Racing short shift counterweight thingie, and I looked into the air intake hose. What the hell are these metal wires (see photos) that stick through the hose into the air flow? Don't they create turbulence and interfere with the air flow? Just never seen anything like this before in an air intake hose.
