Default Opinions on wheel colour/caliper colour

Whats up guys! Pointless thread comin in hot.

My Miro 398's in satin black are lookin a little worse for wear. Well, not really, just a little curb rash. However, I'm looking to change things up when I put my summers back on! I'm trying to decide what combination of colours I should go with for my calipers and wheels. I have a liquid silver speed. I was kinda debating white wheels and turquoise calipers, or maybe leave the wheels black or a gun metal colour with lime green calipers or orange calipers.

I'm not interested in doing red calipers since its been done a million times. If any of you have any different set ups, feel free to comment or post up a picture, I would love to see! I'm horrible with decisions, so I'm just looking for some feedback.

Thanks!

I painted my calipers black. Because it's silly to bring attention to something that is marginally mediocre at best.

Though I do completely agree with you, I still want to spice it up a little bit. Call it rice, tacky, whatever you'd like, I just have an itch to do it... maybe I'm bored. That being said, would you have a suggestion on a wheel colour? I wanted to keep that kinda simple, black, white, silver, gun metal, etc.

I went with Anthracite Gray. It takes it away from the ho-hum silver of every vehicle on the road, but isn't flashy either.

I've never really been a fan of black wheels disappearing amidst the black tire.

Gunmetal. Black is played out and it disappears in the wheel well. Here’s a pic of my setup. As far as the calipers, have you considered the MGP caliper covers? They’re functional and will give you the right amount of rice you are seeking.

Dang, I really dig that gun metal colour! As far as the covers, I have looked at them, however, they're pretty expensive and I'm not a huge fan of the fake bolts on them. I wish I had some disposable income to splurge on a BBK, not that I'd ever need one since the car doesn't see a track or anything, but damn they look good.

That's one thing that always bothered me, the fact that half the time you can't even see my wheels. They completely disappear in pictures, and you can barely see them unless the suns out.

You guys seriously giving each other advice on color? That's totally subjective. Might as well be debating color of girlfriends (if you have any) hair or dresses.

Man, just grow a pair, use your own senses and get what you like. What YOU like. Otherwise, you're just a poser trying to impress others. Do you still use armpit farts to get attention?

Seriously, OP, stop being insecure and expecting group speak to determine your own values. Do you attend fashion shows to decide what color is "in" this spring?

He doesn't attend them, he's on the runway.
