(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So i did some research about the p2088 and there was alot of information about how people had forgot to plug the sensor in or the wire was cut/split but i didnt find much about the actual cause of the problem. I had the famous vvt sound hitting the valve cover so i took it into the shop to get that fixed and upon arrival they checked the ecu for codes and it read, p0016 which i thought was related to the bad vvt, and also p2088... now my first thought was that maybe this code could be related to the bad vvt and it would go away after that was fixed. Is this the case? Could this code go away after i get my vvt replaced? Any information would be helpful. Thanks |
