Hey Monica, tell John that he'd sell MUCH more of these if he offered a "Broken in" version of his pumps and charge less than CP-E.

The reason we even have to charge more, is the process of getting the internals build. If we lowered our prices lower then CP-E, we would basically be giving them away and losing money... which means no pay check for Monica. Lol Just call dude and we will try and get ya a good price on them. I will be here all damn day to answer the phone. Well until 4pm OUR TIME!

So he's now offering pumps that are already broken in? CP-E's unit is pretty steep... like $650 + a $350 Core IIRC. You guys should be able to get under that no sweat.

I don't really care about the money and would rather work with you guys, I just don't want to have to break it in because I like boosting too much. Haha!

We are getting a tester soon, so all pumps will come pre tested and broken in and ready to go.. if ya wanna wait till then... but we do not have a release date on when that will be done and ready to go.

Come on Alpha can you not follow directions and break them in yourself.. lol jk

Nope, the sub forums don't have the same rules as the open forums.

This is how we choose to run this GB if you have a problem with it, well sorry. I am not here to please the individual, I am here to please the masses. I have been a little burnt out with the individual that feels that they are more important that all our other customers, your not so get over it!

What you are describing is not a group buy, thats why you are confusing so many people.

You should have just said hey we are having a sale on our internals please call for a special price. No need to get mad at potential customers that are confused on your "group buy" definition.

Just out of curiosity - what is the break in requirements? - I know, I know, "We send the break-in requirements/instructions in the package"
Before I commit to buying - just want to know what the break-in entails....50 miles? 100 miles?

Step one: idle car for 20 min

Step two: drive car for next hundred miles of just regular driving while fluctuating the rpm's from 1000-5000.
During this brake in procedure only use low boost

Step three:Monitor Pump pressure during wide open throttle (if you have equipment to do so) if pressure drops repeat step two of brake in procedure

if you are not equipped to monitor fuel pressure then you're going to have to watch for key signs of fuel cut. At first sign of fuel cut you'll need to repeat step two of brake in procedure.

theres nothing "regular" about the break in procedure... i think this word that is also used in the instructions u send is very wrong and vague.

As hard as it is you need to drive from 1000rpm to above 5000rpm back down to 1000rpm and so on. You need to do this as much as possible in the first 100 miles..
