Default techniques to replace MS6 CV shafts

So I have a torn boot, joint is getting bad, I have to replace front cv joints

A while back, had the whole front end apart to do arms and bushings, sub frame lowered, the 9 yards

tapers were never siezed per normal during reinstall

but, just cannot get the rear arm free of the fuckin knuckle insert

I can drop the frame again and get the other end free to get at the shaft, but that would suck balls

does anyone have any tricks on that knuckle/ ball joint issue ?

or, with the front LCA dropped, rear still attached... if i remove the UCA and the 3 tower nuts,.....

would I get enough knuckle play to get the axle out ??
