(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Here is the release of the full version of the standalone HP/TQ graphing application that reads Evoscan logs, and doesnt require Excel or copy and pasting your data. The interface is pretty self explanatory. You can drag your CSV files to the panel on the left, then enter the appropriate data in the box that appears and your graph should appear. There are several graph options and those can be accessed from the menu at the top. There are only a few cars in the data file as of the initial release but as soon as a few more people test it and get me data on other vehicles I will add more. The link to the page is http://www.bradbarnhill.com/projects/VirtualDyno/ Click Here to download the latest version Feel free to let me know what you think and suggestions on improvements. I know I am opening myself up to a lot of criticism but thats the only way to make this app better. Thanks to all of you that have helped support this application through development and to all of those who have waited patiently for it. Many thanks to some who have contributed over and over to its development: Mellon Racing Boosted Tuning Also if you would like to donate to the project feel free. I dont require payment as I rely on donations to keep the project alive. If you are a tuner please consider who keeps you in business and who develops software to support you. Donate a little per tune to your free tools community that supports you so well. Click here to donate

OR Throttle Position Optionally, you can display AFR and boost by logging these values: 4. Actual AFR 5. Boost ...and then setting up the options table thus:

Send them to bradbarnhill at hotmail com Thanks, Im not advertising here ... unless you consider FREE as advertising I just started this thread as a continuation of another thread already on the forum so I can update pictures on the original post as the app develops.

____________________ Brad, something that would be nice to have is a mechanism to average runs. I typically grab three data logs on a given tune to find trends. This would be especially helpful since we are subject to variances in the road. I would love to be able to select which runs to average - IE data logs 1,3,6 are one average, while 2,4,5 are a second average. But where we could select any number and position of data logs to average. Just an idea!!

| Not Ranked : 0 score Heres my logs. 3 runs total, same road, 3rd gear pull. I never dynoed my car, but numbers seem to be right at what I should be expecting with my mods. BTW, thanks Brad. Very cool program. The results look pretty consistent which should help me track changed made to my map. Nice also to see a visual representation of logs. Looking at excel sheets for a long time makes my eyes hurt =/

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score It doesn't matter which you log as long as I have the definition in the columnnames.xml file. I just use it to tell when you go WOT, to trim the rest of the garbage out of the file.

By the way if you're like me with a dashhawk you'll need to export into excel and then you'll need to divide time into how many cell lengths there are. And then make sure your colums are neat and tidy like below and then copy and paste into a text file. Time RPM AFR TPS Boost 0.90 3293.75 12.16 100.00 19.14 1.05 3321.50 12.09 100.00 18.70 1.20 3387.50 12.11 100.00 17.69 1.35 3429.25 11.86 100.00 18.13 1.51 3509.50 11.85 100.00 17.98 1.66 3598.75 11.60 100.00 17.98 1.81 3674.75 11.58 100.00 18.13 1.96 3712.75 11.47 100.00 17.83 2.11 3820.75 11.49 100.00 18.13 2.26 3882.00 11.46 100.00 18.13 2.41 3945.25 11.46 100.00 18.13 2.56 4010.75 11.47 100.00 17.69 2.71 4069.50 11.49 100.00 17.40 2.86 4141.25 11.44 100.00 17.40 3.01 4225.25 11.36 100.00 17.25 3.16 4278.50 11.27 100.00 17.11 3.31 4352.75 11.41 100.00 16.82 3.46 4419.50 11.29 100.00 16.53 And you'll see it works just like the cobb guys.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score send me an export file unmodified from dashhawk and Ill try to make it work. If I can ... it has to be in CSV or TXT format. (Comma or tab-delimited) Also you can limit it from 3000 - 6000 if you want with the slider bar at the bottom of each run in the left pane.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Just curious but is the dynometer in the software on the computer for the Accessport or in the device? Just curious as I sent cobb a copy of my software back in the day to evaluate to buy it, and never heard from them. I want to make sure they arent robbing me.

out a reading of hp/tq by the datalog. It does not show an actual dyno plot on the ap or ap manager software for the computer just numbers on the ap screen. Usual not that accurate for back to back WOT pulls.

| Not Ranked : 0 score It's pretty straight forward. Start up the virtual dyno and upload a datalog you have saved to your AP or whatever you datalog with. Then select the car and make. It will then plot out a dyno chart based on your datalog. |
