Here are some parts from onlinemazdaparts.com Clutch disk = $128.30 Flywheel = $946.14 yes expensive but a couple of guys have ran OEM clutch with aftermarket single mass flywheel and liked it alot. Pilot bearing = $11.35 Pressure Plate = &172.16 I am sure there are other parts needed to rebuild the stock clutch but that is several. As long as you dont want or need the stock dual mass flywheel then its really not that expensive. I would imagine they are even cheaper through MSM if you are a member, which is you want OEM parts for these cars you should be. Most people go with the ACT 6 puck from what i have seen and most like it. but just about anything that can take more than the stock clutch as far as torque goes doesnt seem like a clutch you want to DD with

| Act 6 puck sprung with pixie dust and streetlite flywheel from edge... That's the replacement clutch that you want... The oem clutch is trash and if you aren't careful, would have to replace a $1200 useless dual mass flywheel...

There's a couple guys with modestly built cars running that set up with great results so far. I was waiting for some longevity results to appear though. Not too familiar with this upgraded OEM clutch disk. What makes it upgraded? Only thing that bothers me about the ACT is that some very reputable people are claiming it wont last long. Not to mention the various reviews of the day to day action of the ACT. | |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hahahaha butt hurt!!! Ok I'll give it to ya.I don't know much about this forum shit. I'm too busy to spend a lot of time on the web, and yeah im over the fact that I didn't go by what you guys consider protocol, but I sank 9k in a car I can't drive, there for asking people who know and it's obvious to me that u guys have plenty of time, being that you get on here and bad mouth people about their spelling and grammar, when I give two shits about punctuation and spelling... Point is a rant is a rant and this went from a question about my clutch(bought the act kit with flywheel thanks) to you guys telling me to donate money after some of u acted like dicks just saying grow up if you were born with the knowledge of these cars good for you if u learned it from google great I'm glad. I'm starting my journey with the ms6 I bought and hope that after I learn all that u guys have that when asked I won't b a dick but ill answer n e questions that someone has honestly and to the best of my knowledge. I appreciate u guys who turned me to the right shit to the rest of you I hope u get crabs from a gas station toilet seat! I'm done! |

This forum is the end all and be all of information about mazdaspeeds we act the way we do because we are to busy making are cars faster and trying to figure out ways to make this car faster. We dont like to spoon feed people info because it is better for everyone if you find it yourself, which it is easy to find, and its better for you to. Here are the reasons you will want to donate if you have a speed. 1.) Access to all the shop manuals for any speed. 2.) Being able to be part of NATOR. Once you get past the ass hatery and stop being butt hurt you can meet up with us in person at out meets. You will never find a group more willing to help you with your car. 3.) Access to the for sale threads. You will more than likely save 25 dollars on the first item you buy 4.) pics of the super hot MFS girls and cock if your into that Easily the best 25 bucks i have ever spent. Now i am done being nice, take your flamming like a man. You seem like you might be an ok guy if you would stop getting all butt hurt so knock it off, read as much as you can so you learn how things work here, go to some local nator meets and you will be more than happy that you bought a speed. This is easily one of the best communities period
I think phate and silva ran the stock clutch with a lightwieght flywheel dont know which ones, and they liked it. They have obviously moved on from that now

| Not Ranked : 0 score Search under my username for clutch related stuff and use the words "part numbers" somewhere in there. Search by posts (radio button at bottom of advanced search). I'd link, but I'm on my phone. You'll find all of the OE part numbers you need for an entire clutch setup. Prob get some info about the Fidanza flywheel while you're at it. If you still haven't found what you need by tonight, I'll link when I'm near a computer.
