Default Will taking my stock MS6 on track destroy it?

Hi guys, interested in doing a trackday with my MS6, 82K on the clock.
It has a high pressure fuel pump, I think a japspeed intake and some aftermarket exhaust system I don't know what it is.

I've heard the rear diff mounts should be done - is this a case that they wear out and need replacing or they will cause catastrophic damage when they fail?

Either way, apart from tires and pads, is there any real damage that gets done by tracking this car? (ignoring shitty driver skills lol)

thanks

If you're just wanting to have fun, I would suggest detuning it a little. Run spring pressure boost. I've had issues with adequate intercooling with both stock and aftermarket TMICs. Extended runs at WOT and long straights will have your BATs soaring. Add a gallon or two of E85 to the tank too and I'd say you're ready for a fun weekend.

I wouldn't concern yourself with diff mounts at a trackday since you shouldn't be launching...ever.

Most trackday providers and racing organizations have a list of things you should upgrade/ check. Just google "first trackday"

Brakes and brake fluid are most critical. High temp fluid and stainless lines will keep it from boiling. Your brakes will get hot and boil stock fluid. Then no brakes! Run a pad like Hawk, EBC reds, etc.

As far as mounts, I would say the most benefit is had from an aftermarket rear motor mount (RMM). The rear diff mount you car read about on here all day long. The stock bushings are weak and give way. Some have had them snap. Some bolts on the front diff mount have sheared. I never had a problem before upgrading my rear diff mount. Is it necessary for a trackday? No.

Get good tires and drive within your, and your cars limits!

slap some hawk HPS or HP+(if you dont mind infinite brake dust and noise) on the car, some decent fluid, decent tires, and send it. if youre a once in a while kinda track guy thatll do just fine. if youre going to be going often, then theres much more to consider. Ive done a track day in a car with OEM pads and fluid, let me tell you, NOT fun.

ALSO, oil. bring extra. check it in between sessions and before driving home. maybe even change it before if youre close to an oil change anyways.
