Default COBB I WANT AN ANSWER!

Alright, well normally I wouldn't take something this far and put such a reputable company on blast, but after today's antics on the phone with COBB TUNING Plano, TX I'm pretty fucking pissed off right now.

I'm tired of jumping through hoops, messaging @Evan@COBB; on here with no responses when he's clearly been online since I started PM'ing him about 2-3 weeks ago.

I know I'm not the only person with this issue. The last NATOR So Cal meet we did a BT install for a local member. The 2 of us happen to have a COBB EBCS to install, when trying to remove the fittings in Ryan's (the other member) EBCS it became very difficult to remove them, so difficult to the point that a bench vice, vice grips and a wrench would not loosen the fittings. Finally after heating them up with a torch for a few seconds the fittings broke loose. After the fittings broke loose we noticed all the threads were completely destroyed inside his EBCS. We then repeated this process on the other 2 fittings and same results, completely destroyed threads. After closely examining the fittings it seems that COBB has changed them to steel fittings. Steel fittings inside of an aluminum MAC VALVE is a big no go, they need to be brass, COBB has at some point switched to these cheaper steel fittings to cut down on cost's, or that's how I see it. After this long hassle and destruction of a brand new EBCS we decided to try mine in the box, needless to say after just a few seconds we realized that mine was going to be destroyed in a matter of seconds trying to get them out as well. This issue needs to be addressed, I'm tired of being dicked around and not responded too. My phone call to COBB Plano today was the last straw. I was on the phone for nearly an hour being transferred from one person to another with no real answer. Finally the last person decides to tell me that I waited to long to mention anything when I mentioned something within a week of this happening.

Something needs to be done here, I paid good money for a product that I want to use, but need to change to bigger (Brass) fittings to help control the EWG once my BT shows up in the coming weeks.

I sincerely hope someone at COBB actually decides to read this and do something about it, because 99.9999% of the time they have the best customer service in the business. I was shocked to get the run around zero help after calling them today.

I probably should of went that route, but I went with COBB because all of their other products I've run on my MS3 and my previous STI have always been top notch as well as the customer service when I needed help, but clearly this time is different.

@crazyspeed6; has had quite the run around also with Plano Cobb. He towed his car there to get tuned. While there they stated he needed a 3 port and they he could buy theirs. Now it is making a clicking noise (it sounds to me like a solenoid or relay going out). They won't respond to him and keep saying they will have to get with Calvin but never get back with him. Had the same problem when he later had problems with his tune. No help at all. @crazyspeed6; finally cut his losses and went with Stratified.

Tell him to post on facebook because apparently that is more important than contacting them directly
