(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score As we all know - our APs can read and reset CEL codes. I've been curious for a while to see whether it could interface, while married, with a different car and read/reset its CEL codes. Unfortunately yesterday I have discovered that it is not the case - while my AP fires up in a different car, it has a communication error message when I try and read codes from a different car (in this case, it was a 2003 Firebird). Obviously the logic to interface with OBD2 diagnostics is there... but I am assuming that the AP is programmed to ignore anything that does not have the married cars' signature... perhaps Cobb can modify that one feature to work with every car regardless of the AP's status? OBD2 readers are cheap, sure, but one device to rule them all...
