I've been emailing Travis at Cobb to see if they are aware and can repeat this issue. He said he will let the team know about our concerns. I also gave him the link to this thread.

FYI..I am selling my HT tune soon and getting a FMIC so I just wanted to push this along.

If you look at the x axis values you will see they are Baro pressure. A value of 1.04 is 30.71 in hg which is pretty high pressure. I don't think most people will see atmospheric pressure that high to enable the temp settings. maybe Cobb can adjust the baro scale lower to more prevalant pressures....

Here's what Travis sent me:

"Ok, I got the final word on the rad control. Sadly, this function still is not operating as expected. We will be looking into fixing this, but I don't have a date on it. That said, rad control is only really something you need at idle or very low speed. Are there overheating issues with these cars?"

I told him that our cars don't OVER heat per se but I think that these cars may get hotter than other comparable turbo 4 bangers.?.?.

I guess we'll see.

Now running the beta version of both ATR and APM. Updated my map, saved to 190 deg F. and still no love. A log is attached.

I've also found one thing that does trouble me a fair bit; it used to be that when the car was above some unknown temperature threshold and was shut down, the radiator fan would kick on balls deep for a few seconds to cool down the water a fair bit. I've just realized it has not done this for quite some time (possibly since I started flashing with the AP).

The attached log shows the fan kicking on at a "high" 217 deg, and shutting off when it reaches a "low" 213. I shut the car down @ 217 and there was no audible sound from the radiator fan.

Per response from Cobb, it's apparently still an issue with Gen 1.

isnt there a known bug with ATR in that even set to standard with degrees in F, its actually still reading C? try setting the equivalent to 195 in Celsius and see how it works out maybe? if anything your fan will just run continuously till you change it back, right?

Already did that, the only thing that changed is that my fan now comes on when I shut the engine down.

Same here, I tried the new BETA ATR and set my fan at 90.56C (~195F) and my fan doesn't kick in.

That sounds about right; there's quite a bit of electronics attached to it.

I think what Cobb might have to do is trick the fan controller into thinking the AC is on at the preset temperature; the tables they have are probably for engine-off operation of the fan (hot shutdown and rapid cooldown).

Bummer. I have really long driveway (~15+ speed bumps) and by the time I park in my garage and shut it off my rad fan comes on and stays on. I'd like some control over this ie have the rad fan come on as I climb up my speed bump hill so my temps don't get so high.
