I usually pick up time with each of my runs, but the tires got overheated and I just couldn't improve with my last two runs. (Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Another event in the books, finished 5th in T class, but was really not a good performance. I could never find time on this course, and I was pretty far off pace from the fast folks. Lots of off camber stuff and mid turn bumps. Picked up a full face SA2015 helmet in prep for doing track stuff as my 2005 helmet is out of date. I also picked up this bad boy on the cheap in prep for doing more track work. Can take a better selection of repair tools and if I cord a tire I wont be stuck driving home on it. Can also transport purple crack to and from events if I decide to start the addiction next season.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score A little bit more semi-functional bling. I'm sealing up the radiator area so the hood latch needed to go and added the vents too. After dealing with heat issues on the 3, I don't want to have to worry about it on this thing. I sized up the undertray parts and got them squared away and they are off to be anodized right now. Both of the mount holes on the passenger side for the side of the tray have sheared off bolts in them, nice and rusty, so that will be fun to deal with. Will break out the left handed drill bits and hope that takes care of it.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Best run in the afternoon @ 57.285 which was more than a second faster than my morning run after disconnecting the rear swaybar for the afternoon runs. So much more rear grip really lets me swing the car around which confidence and get on the throttle much earlier. The car is slower to transition meaning I need to make my inputs earlier, but I am very satisfied with the change. My last run I spun just before where I slide a bit in this video, I was just trying to push it to see where the limits are. I'll get faster as I get used to having ALL THE GRIP. The car will still rotate just fine on throttle lift, but now it will hook up on exit and understeer if the weight is balanced rearward, which actually lets me steer with the throttle. | Not Ranked : 0 score Is this fucking pirate tramp faster than your MS3 yet? The rivals - did not like them at all when I ran 24 hrs at VIR on a Miata. Just can't handle any heat at all. I'd go RS3s over those shits hands down.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score With no boost I'll never run faster lap times in the Miata than the speed, you just can't overcome being down by 200hp, but on the fun scale its tilted way towards the miater. The rivals would probably be one lap wonders on the track. I spray them down after each auto-x run, but they are worth a full second over the hankooks on a 60 second auto-x run. I'm kinda conflicted about my next set of tires. What I want are some 245 A7s, but that pricetag.
