Default JBR rsb

Once again I sent the guys at Edge some of my cash. I am chasing the rear-end "clunk" on my MS3. The stealership said it was the rsb bushings or shocks. Not wanting to give them the money for the work or parts I bought a new rsb from Edge. JBR's stuff is always top-notched as are the Edge guys. It didn't take complete care of the "clunk" but it is better. I'll be ordering some Konis next.

tighten them down as tight as you can, then another 1/4 turn. mine started clunking about 200 miles after i put it on, and i retightened it and have not had any issues since.

sometimes not so much. i still had the clunk after replacing bushings and endlinks.. then i bought a JBR RSB and my clunk is gone.

however, since the OP already replaced the RSB and bushings, @Easter Bunny; is spot on.

Thanks for the input. I was just going by the dealership's diagnosis after a ride in it.

i know, it's stupid when it is explained, but the original sentence made me chuckle. thanks!

I am going to pull the shocks today to see how they look. They don't bounce, but they seem to be bottoming out. Oklahoma roads are really shitty. I will give everything a twist for good measure.

Default RSB clunking

Had the same issue with JBR RSB clunking .Replaced Endlinks same issue after few days clunking back again. My permanent fix was by coincidence when I installed GTSPEC Rear Subframe Reinforcement Panel Part #: GTS-SUS-1429 that took care of it I have been running for a year now with no issues.

I've had the JBR rsb on for 6 months or so now, no clunks. I had some squeaks that were taken care of by greasing the bushings, but never a clunk. you really do have to tighten the shit out of the end links.

I got down there and cranked them up as tight as I could. I didn't get to the shocks cause I opened up my thumb when I slipped a socket on the bottom nut. I am pretty sure they need to be changed. The ass seems to bottom quite a bit. I think I will go with the endlinks first as that is what many of you are saying, and they are cheaper to replace. I appreciate the advice!!!

Front and rear endlink change=no more clunk. Put in some Moogs and fsb bushings and all is well. Thanks for the info!
