(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hey guys, ordered my TR1035 just now. I was looking at the CXRacing piping kit (from the RPM Store) and I decided instead of fussing with the kit and buying a bunch of couplers to fit the the TR1035, I am just going to make my own piping. I am purchasing a 2.5" 304 stainless steel piping 'kit', it comes with a bunch of silicon couplers, elbows, t-bolt clamps, and some sections of SS tubing (straight sections, elbows, 45s, etc.). I can weld SS but not aluminum, my welding machine is DC only, you need AC to TIG weld aluminum. Plus I don't have the special tri-mix gas for aluminum. I figure SS won't conduct heat as well as aluminum, hence why a lot of piping kits are aluminum, but it won't be a significant difference. After all that's why I got a huge TR10 core, so I can finally increase the power coming from my CS turbo. Anyway. I need a flange for the BPV. I've found a couple do-dads that convert the Mazda style flange to say a Greddy or HKS, but I just need the flange itself, or at least an idea of what diameter tube it should use coming off the piping. I can fab the flange myself. Any ideas? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just get a piece of 1/4" thick SS plate and trace the BPV flange. Cut holes, tap holes, weld to pipe, done. Or get any one of the already available weld-on flanges for your aftermarket BPV of choice...although I'm not sure if they are SS or Alum. Or, Stock mazdaspeed BPV Flange for Custom FMIC Setup
