i think i'll be happy with the 2867, now i just need to find the time to install it and get all the supporting mods. Probably going to buy a Guardian Angel as well, and use that as the map sensor.

That's my dream turbo right now. Why did the person sell it?

I guess I need to start bad mouthing the GTX2867Rs so more people will sell them used? By the way, these turbos suck. Very laggy response. Only produce max 20 psi. Flow 10% more than a K04.... :-)

Since you're getting a new intake, why go with an OEM size instead of a larger one better suited for a larger turbo? That question was to wake you up.

i know, i just didn't want to spend more money, being stubborn i suppose. The jbr doesn't look bad but it says it won't fit in the oem spot, cp-e paired with there tip looks good but it's also 100$+ more than the jbr... decisions

If you want to run e85 or get the best out of the 2867 you will need at least a 3 inch, the OEM size one will max out easy.
What do you mean by the JBR won't fit in the OEM spot. I had the silicone one when i had 2867 and it fits with the stock battery box even though it was slightly against it, but being silicone it wasn't doing any damage compared to what a metal one would do.
Actually have the 3.5 Silicone JBR on my current set up, i use the corksport battery box now and it has an inch clearance from touching that.

I have this intake on my car, I fitted it with my own hands. You're not paying attention at all, I'm saying silicone, you keep giving me links to the aluminium version. I keep saying it fits without relocating the ECU or battery, you keep wondering if it's really true. Man...

Like mituc said..i clearly said mine was silicone as well....you may wan't spend the next month or so reading through pages and pages of this site for some proper research before fitting that turbo.
