(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Now fast forward to now, I decided to go EWG because I was concerned about creep and figured I had some extra cash why not go for the EWG setup. I ordered a new ATP GT30 EWG housing and when I went to put it on the turbo it didnt fit! I emailed garrett with the serial on the chra and got back the news I have a GT3582R! now I was initially stoked, what!? bigger turbo than I thought for the price heck yes! but now I'm not sure how it all fits into my forcasted build... (hpfp, full exhaust, 3.5inch intake, tr8 front mount, injector seals, CS BPV, EWG setup tial mvs, egr delete) On a stock block with pump gas (Canada no e85) and this turbo, and I'm guessing no more than 15psi I'm kinda not where I want to be on the compressor map (is that too much flow? from my limited understanding of the compressor map this turbo can flow a heck of a lot of air and I'm worried it will pop my motor at a higher psi, which i suppose wouldnt be the end of the world but id rather not have to pull the motor now) I don't have any idea where this will spool either. I'm not shooting for crazy HP numbers while on the stock internals without an octane boost of some kind or aux fuel maybe 320-350 to the tire right now, more later on a built block. So the question is this, make it work for a summer and next year go for high 400's or sell this and get myself the 3071 or 76 I originally had planned for. Input is much appreciated as I really can't find much on this specific turbo.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Read the BT build threads. I recall some of the BT guys saying they would go smaller (3071/76) if they could do it over again for a DD.

| Not Ranked : 0 score It's gonna be shit on stock flange .60-.65 a/r anyway so it will be boring before 4500rpm if you're pushing less than 30psi through it and you're stock engine so yawn. Acquire TiAL vband or T3 kit and swap out turbine housing if you want to keep that turbo and actually have a fun car

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Cheers for the replies! It looks like ill be selling the turbo, just not the right one for what im going for in the dd/track car. I've read the build threads and no.one seems to be rocking this guy without a better flowing manifold and a built motor. I guess lesson learned buying used parts!
