Next step was getting the fuels system ready for all the future uprades so in went corksport fuel pump internals and stainless fuel line-

And since I was already all up in there, took out the EGR system and put in a CPE block off kit in-

And since I had the TB off to remove the EGR tube, decided to run a coolant bypass-

I was pretty sketch at first doing the fuel pump(never done one before) but it wasnt all that bad. Fuel line wast bad at all either, definately made getting the pump back in easier.

FYI, you're going to fail emissions with the EGR block-off installed.

That isnt the only thing on the car that will cause emissions failure.

After all the above was taken care of, the rest of the new goodies could go in. CPE topmount, JBR boost tubes, Corsport sri/tip, corksport 50/50 BPV-

And on the exhaust side of things, put in a corksport test pipe-

Now it was time for a tune. Went with a custom Freektune.

Your pivot shaft seal on the transmission is leaking. There is a how to on here to complete the job.

Nice to see you did all the upgrades in good order. That JBR PMM must cause a lot of NVH along with the TMM. I went with stock PMM and Corksport inserts on the OEM TMM. Was just too much NVH for me personally. YMMV.

You'll hear clicking of the EBCS with it mounted on the firewall. Just so you don't wonder what it is when you start to hear it. Though with that mount set you probably wont! Lol.

Nice zip ties on that front bumper! What happened there?

Whats next? How many miles on it? Did you do a compression test?

Thanks, Ill check out the how to to fix it.

I onwed a speed3 a while back so I learned how to do shit proper lol.
The NVH is pretty gnarly, but Im used to it now. I do still hear the click from the EBCS though. haha

I bought it like that so not sure what happened, Ill get around to taking care of that eventually.

Its got 87K on the clock now, bought it with 84K. I did not compression check it, the next time I swap plugs i plan too.

As for whats next will be reveiled soon. Hehe.

Next up was installing the gauge. I didnt want highly visible gauge pods and shit, so I went with the center vent install on this one. I tried plastic first, but didnt like it, so I used 1/4" oak lol-

Pretty simple to do with hand tools, I can throw a quick write up together if anyone is interested.

Drained the trans and rear dif and refilled with Redline MT90(trans) and 75W90 gear oil(Dif). Glad I did the bearing with the seal, feels pretty solid now.

Found 2 more leaks, possibly a third.

Oil cooler seal is leaking and one of the coolant hoses to the oil cooler is leaking.

I have a spin on conversion to go in so I guess Ill just have to get a new oil cooler setup to go in with it.

Third possible leak is between transaxle and shaft. Ran short on time so had to throw car back together, but next time I go under Ill check this one out more closely. Hoping its just blow back from the leaking oil cooler, but with my luck it wont be. lol.

There are doing replacement oil cooler for cheap now.

As other said, nice progress in the perfect order.

The powerstering return hose have some weakness there too so wash everything with brake cleaner and check it again to see where it really leaks. I though i had a bad diff seal, i ordered it and when come time to replace it, i found it was just the crush washer on the oil plug...Not that i was mad to save a lot of time but i should have checked before ordering it...anyway it will leak soon or later and i will have the part...

Got a line on a gen 2 oil cooler and coolant lines for 60 so Ill be grabbing that, then Ill put in my screw on filter setup with the new oil cooler and coolant lines.

My Gaurdian Angel should arrive today. Once I get that in Ill be returning to Justin to retune in 3 port mode.

Installed Gaurdian Angel this weekend. Having some issues hitting peak boost now, at least according to my boost gauge. Im tuned to peak at 19.5 and my boost gauge would match this prior to installing the GA, now my boost gauge shows my peak at 18. Idle vacuum is normal before and after install. I wanted to run a log and see what was really going on, but my OBD2 port is being a bitch and the AP would not keep connected. I think I need to tighten up the pins in the port.

The GA purpose is to let BOV to open if overboost happen, it may just be set lower than expected.

I hit 19 on the gauge today at lunch, so for now I think Ill call it fine until I can take care of the OBD2 port and run a log.

if you run a k04, it could be just the air temperatyure that made a difference.

Just noticed a bunch of black dust on the passenger side of the engine bay, like rubber dust. Wasnt there when I put in the new motor mount. Almost as if the serp belt is being eaten up, but the belt itself looks ok, no apparent damage.
