Default High Mileage Motor Build or not to Build
My current motor has 175,000 miles, runs great. I was needing some input on weather or not it's worth rebuilding and going bt? Should i find another lower mileage motor? any input would be appreciated i know i need to donate and will sooner or later.

Why wouldn't it be worth rebuilding if it runs fine? Doesn't make sense. An engine is not worth rebuilding when you vent the block or some other catastrophic failure.

If it's not your daily, rebuild the motor you have.

If it is your daily, find a motor to build and then swap them out over a weekend. This is what I did. I still have my "old/good" motor...just in case.
