Default DevinS GTX3582 EWG Build

Hello all,
I don't really post on here that much yet but I'm so excited for this build I couldn't resist. The part finding is over, so I can cut straight to the good stuff here shortly. Currently the rotational assy is at the machine shop for keyed crank and clutch is being verified for correct balance. Block is going to be put together by a local legend here in SoCal, Overspeed Motorsports, and should be started in say 2-3 weeks, he's backed up doing awesome work for locals =)

Nothing is wrong with the current car other than it needs moar powa seems I'm one of the few that builds before it blows haha. 2010 MS3 currently has 60k on the clock, time to waken it up out of its easy life its had so far and push it to the edge! Currently fully bolted 50/50 e85 freektuned, and makes about 325whp give or take. Build underway is as follows:

Manley pistons/rods .020 over
Gtx3582 ewg kit from edgeautosports
Docrace manifold from edgeautosports
All new timing components, gaskets, seals
Keyed crank
L19 headstuds, s2000 mains
Clevite H series main and rod bearings
ACT 6puck w/ streetlite fw
Two sets of tires Hoosier qtp and MH depending on track

Still need to get the 6th port kit from Justin @freektune, but it's already cost a considerable amount so my pocketbook needs time to recover. I will update this thread as the build progresses. Thanks for looking!

Car will be retired to track use only following build, although it will be registered out of state (Ohio) so that it can still be driven in California lol...(I have active out of state emissions waiver for active duty military for Ohio )

I highly, highly, HIGHLY suggest not doing the mazda flange on that turbo. It's going to hate life and spool slow as shit. You really should stay at a minimum of .82A/R on a 35r.

We're a little past that lol, but we'll see how it goes. Always room to improve for the future, no build is ever final imo, so just have to see how it performs and make changes as necessary

CNT catback, and 3.5 bar map going in today =) Should help alot considering mods. My first and only run at the strip netted 12.1 with some wheelspin haha, sure I could have hit 11s with a few more runs

It's alright, I definitely would not go stock flange again, it's something I want to change in the near future. Should have done more research, but it's met my expectations and then some.
Now it's off stock catback, and moving to a 3.5 bar map sensor today to run more boost, with a dyno tune from Justin@freektune next month, so I will form my conclusion when it's all finished =)

It's turned into a fun daily that wants to try and kill everything on the highway lol

Bump, got Justin@freektune out to Cali and had a dyno day, she did 506whp and 501wtq. Not bad for stock flange with stock intake manifold Hitting track Sunday for an easy 11 Pass. I am now off stock catback and on 3.5 bar map so getting a 11 pass should be cake =)

Larger hotside is likely down the road lmao.
