| Not Ranked : 0 score Anyways check your "Boost Limit-Throttle Close" Table and make sure it is at least slightly above you boost target. With ..one of my speeds can't remember which..I fought that for a while. Boost target was 21, Boost Fuel CUt at 23 and I just couldnt get past 20 or something. Turns out I had left my "Boost Limit-Throttle Close" still at a lower level and it would pull throttle/boost without showing anything in the WGDC etc. Then after that it would climb back to target. Make sure they are sequential Boost Target 21, "Boost Limit-Throttle Close" 22, Boost fuel cut 23 or something like that. This was another simple thing that I chased my ass on for like a week.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Already is set right. Throttle close at 23 fuel cut at 24 target boost at 21. I feel like this is mechanical not tune related. I don't know why the file says that, maybe I have a tuner version of the software :p

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I haven't been back in the car to see. Is this considered surging when the turbo can't maintain a boost pressure? I mean I have literally taken a k04 map that ran perfect and slapped it on the s2 (reducing some wgdc) and it still does the spool up power dip

| Not Ranked : 0 score I only read the last few posts, so my apologies if this doesn't apply. But have you considered clutch slip? When my oem clutch started slipping years ago, I was pulling my hair out thinking it was a tune related issue. Boost was very inconsistent at spool up, and kept dropping off like I was hitting a limiter. Just a thought. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I highly doubt it is that. I make less wtq than the k04 at that rpm and it happens at any boost targets and only adjusts about 2 psi no matter the target. It literally has done this from the first map of the bnr install and I logged a k04 run the morning before swapping. The only hard parts that changed were the jbr mac valve, cnt downpipe (was running catless before this anyway) and the turbo.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Well thank you to everyone for the support and guidance through the years. I believe I now have all the parts I need to get my stock out completed. Once I made this official I gave tuning one last go with e85 . It only took me about a 20% mix to hit pretty damn close to mbt. We have good 93 around here. Car felt freaking amazing on the e85 tune. On a 90* day and BATs around 140 I still managed to throw down about 330whp. It never really got cool out though and I have load set to 2.5 so I don't know if there was more in it but I am sure there was. I was only seeing about 22-23psi.Coming soon: parts for sale lol

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Speed is going strong. Has some oil residue on 3rd spark plug but still likes to walk on those 5.0s. I am thinking it is a valve stem seal. But then again some how my valve cover cracked so it may be due to that. Mileage has hit 75k so it is time to part before major mechanical problems arise.

Do you mean oil on the plug in the cyl? Or just where it meets the head

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So. I pulled the plugs today. They have close to 5k miles on them. All 4 look identical. Hmmmm. Still have not compression tested but makes me want to switch to a private party sale now that I know the motor isn't hurt like I thought it was. Any takers? Lmao
