(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score the first thing i bought was cobb AP V3 For the speed i got it used from a facebook group for $537 shipped i had to buy a sticky mount to mount it because the previous owner didn't have one and also i need to buy a cord to connect to the computer which wasn't a big deal . I saved myself a little over a hundred dollar

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score 2nd thing i bought was a CP-E rmm 65 durometer i didn't want to go to high of a durometer because it's my daily it's been holding up pretty well so far had it almost two years now but I plan on going damond mounts for all three rmm , pmm & tmm hopefully the beginning of next year

I guess because it was a actual kit instead of a universal kit I was going to get one for my old eclipse but it was universal so i didn't want to take a chance on them not coming out right

| Not Ranked : 0 score Looks good man and you’re mod build is in the right direction. I used to have a red speed I bought brand new in 2012 but stocked out and traded for something else. I missed it so much 10 months later I sold that that car and picked up a silver 13’ speed. Very fun cars and pretty rare nowadays.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I bought a eonon head unit but I returned it because the gps did not work on it and the head unit felt cheap to me imo and the zoom zoom sound when you enter the car was disabled and I love that sound lol . I plan on getting a kenwood nav so the stock headunit will do for now until I buy a kenwood

| Not Ranked : 0 score I've always wondered about those shifter bushings. I have a 6, but I've never thought that the shifter feels sloppy or whatever. So it's difficult for me to imagine them doing anything. Props on getting an AP early on in the build.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So the next important thing I got was the hpfp internals I went with autotech because everyone on here says it's a proven product among the community . I didn't have the proper tools to do the job myself or anyone to help me so I took it to SoCal COBB / Antspec it took me four hours to drive there because of bad traffic it was only suppose to be a three hour drive haha . the guys finished the install within 45 mins which was very fast ! the bad traffic going there and driving back home was well worth it

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I was on one of the facebook groups and saw a guy selling a JBR stage 2 intake that comes with both short ram and turbo inlet hose for $135 shipped so I picked up the intake since I already had the AP and hpfp internals. man it's crazy how much of a difference a intake makes on turbocharged car ! I used the stage 1 Stratified ots map since Stratified makes ots maps for jbr intakes . I used the ots map for a couple weeks and decided to get a built base map from stratified . video clip after the install down below

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score so after doing some research i read deleting the 2nd cat will add more power and allow you to get a fast spool for the turbo i didn't want a full dp because i'm still running the k04 and i didn't want the smokey turbo issue even though i could make more power with a full dp vs a test pipe i plan on getting a full catted dp once i upgrade the turbo to a corksport or bnr s3 . i found a guy selling a corksport test pipe pretty cheap and good condition for $125 shipped i couldn't pass up the offer . i had to update my stage one tune to a stage two base map tune since i was adding a test pipe . i ask my friend to help with the install and we did the install at his shop .the test pipe made a big difference i felt like the car pulls harder than before ! can't' imagine how a full catted or catless downpipe feels . i also forgot to mention my plugs weren't gapped properly i was getting a misfire when going wot into 3rd gear doing my data logs for my tune so stratified suggest i re gap my plugs to 0.026 and the misfire went away and pulls nicely !

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score blow off valve i'm running my old NGR type S from my old dsm i just had to buy a greddy adapter plate to run it the bov is a well known bov in the dsm and evo community it's just like the old greddy type s but superior than the greddy because they made a stronger diagram inside which doesn't leak i love the sound of this bov recirculated still sounds loud with a nice whistle full boost and low boost very quiet no fluttering either here's a sound clip below and link to website NGR Performance | Turbo Performance Parts & Accessories

I went 3'' because i wanted that extra flow only reason why i didn't go 3.5'' because i read a 3'' is plenty for my power goal and if i upgrade my turbo . the intake fits with the stock battery but it's a tight fit . i got a tune update to run the 3'' i got a lean code at first but then i contacted my tuner and he sent me a few maps one at time for a MAF scale and the last map actually ran better and the code went away

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score decided to get the jbr 51r battery tray because the ecu was rubbing the intake and i can also hear it hitting the ecu also it was a very tight fit . i wanted some wiggle room so i end up getting the tray and a new 51r battery to make things looks clean and have the extra room if i wanted to go 3.5'' to 4'' one day

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score got a used ETS tmic for a steal of a price for $220 shipped the mounting points were bent out of shape not sure if the fedex guy dropped it or the guy bent it but i fix it with a rubber mallet and cleaned the dirty and oil out of the tmic so far it is very impressive with temps ! i want to put some of the gold heat reflector tape on it so it won't heat soak so much in the summer time and buy the ETS stencil logo so i can paint it on the intercooler
