My k04 is smoking and I'm really leaning towards the cs turbo. I haven't quite been able to figure out if I should/need to upgrade my stock ebcs, map sensor and bpv. Other than that I am fully bolted. For now I think 21 psi should be sufficient.

Keep up the good work!
Thank you ! The stuff I bought is only necessary for a certain power level goal I'm tuned by purple drank and plan on sticking with them . I got the 3.5 bar map sensor free with the turbo and it is only needed if you plan on running more then 21 psi and I plan on running 24 to 25 psi . I bought the ebcs only for a few reasons one my tuner mentioned I should pick one eventually because it makes the tuning process easier and I can build boost a lot smoother and it can help with controlling the boost pressure a lot better compared to the OEM and helps eliminate boost spike issues and it is a good combo to do with the cst4 18g since corksport recommends it with there turbo . I got the catted downpipe because my tuner mentioned the more flow the better and closer I'll get to my power goal . I been paying a tension to what my tuner mentions on his mod videos he put out awhile ago on Facebook it's a good guide to help you get a better understanding and what to expect out of certain mods

A catted DP flows better than stock, but a non-catted flows even better...but you may have emissions restrictions, 'cause Cali.

The stock 2.5bar MAP sensor can read to 21psi. For your goals, a 3bar MAP is fine....but the 3.5 came with the turbo and will work fine as well.

The CST4 is designed to work with the stock EBCS. I had no issues with the stock EBCS on the CST4...I upgraded to a 3-port and didn't really notice a difference. But I'm running more PSI now vs when I upgraded, so maybe the difference would be more apparent. Upgrading to the 3-port requires removing the restrictor pill from the pressure line or just running a new line to preserve the pilled line if you ever need to go back to 2-port.

Yes I know catless flows better my tuner suggested it but I have emissions and I don't want to draw tension to myself from being loud and the smell of fumes cops where I live will pull you over in a heart beat and send your car to be Ref .also I'm not going be running 21psi I'm going 25psi I'm already running 21psi my tuner will dawson suggest the 3 bar or 3.5 and yes I know about the restrictor pill as well .everything I mentioned in my post is information from my tuner I trust my tuner and I spoke with someone over at corksport I trust what they said about pairing there ebcs with there turbo and also what will also said about making the process easier and more controllable boost pressure

you can also pipe the pressure source at the manifold for the 3ports if you don't want to mess with the pill and cap that port. You just need slightly lower wg duty to account for the decreased boost reading the other side of the IC (or tap a brass fitting at the turbo discharge...)

I'm hitting 26psi on the E30/meth tune and made 412/377 on the dyno. I don't think much more wanted to come out of the small CS turbo. Now I'm looking to go with the larger CST5 turbo. Using an e30 and 100% meth combo should get me closer to 450 on a bigger turbo.

I pulled the trigger and bought another full tune from purple drank for the new turbo and the rest of my mods .Will already sent me a map to start tuning with him but I haven't installed the new mods yet so I had to email him back to let him know it will be a little while before I get everything installed and I'll keep him posted once everything is installed
