Sorry for the lack of updates over the last couple weeks, I've been busy with a new addition to the family. I was able to get the DP installed, along everything under the car buttoned back up. COBB BPV and valve cover breather are on, and now I'm looking into a vented OCC from Damond Motorsports along with a set of his mounts.

I got the idea stuck in my head that I needed a second OCC. Thought about getting a Damond OCC, but decided I wanted to tinker around and make something. I wanted to give a shout out to Damond Motorsports. Matt was cool enough to take some of his Mario Cart time at home, and talk with me about mounts and OCC's.

I had a Mishimoto OCC sitting around from another project that is long gone, and decided to make it work. A small strip of aluminum, couple of brass fittings, and a drain valve were all that was needed to get the project finished. Getting to the drain valve is easy, even with the battery box in. I also put a new drain valve on my JBR OCC due to the other valve being stuck. Let me know if you guys see any issues with the set up.

I finished up a couple of things this week. Damond mounts went in, along with a 51r battery. Fabricated a aluminum battery strap, due to the factory strap sitting across the harness wires. I'm still waiting on getting my crash bar back, then I can finish up installing the intercooler.

I'm excited to try them out, everybody seems to swear by them. I didn't get the RMM, ended up staying the COBB RMM for now.

So I figured I've made it this far in the build and might as well get a catback exhaust. Purchased the CPE Triton through @EdgeAutosport.com tonight. I should have waited and purchased my CPE DP now instead of at the beginning of this month, could have saved 15%.

They have a 30 day "exchange" policy, you may want to look into that because they could help you out if you ask nicely

You could "technically" exchange the downpipe for an on sale downpipe

did you order one with the extra muffler? and what tips did you get? I noticed there isn't an option for polished tips on edge's website.

You don't need a cover, only the bottom portion of the battery box is needed. I picked up the aluminum from Lowes for under 10 bucks. Using a bench vice will help bend the aluminum. I made the strap slightly smaller in height to the battery so when everything is bolted down it has some tension. Let me know if this helps.

Update time. Car is moving under its own power with no major issues, leaks, or hardware problems. The CPE exhaust was a little loud for my liking, so I ended up having a MF Performance muffler welded in. Hypnotic Tune is in progress, currently on the second revision. Shout out to @rfinkle2 for answering all of my questions and responding extremely fast. Decided to run 100% Meth and will be upgrading to AN lines on my Devils Own setup. Just need everybody to keep calm for a little bit longer while I compile logs, video, pictures, and data.

How is the exhaust compared to stock after adding the muffler?

During cold starts its loud as shit, much louder than stock. During idle its about the same, just a little deeper in tone. While driving around I find it to be just right, its louder but you can still enjoy a conversation in the car without yelling. Highway drone is very minimal, and of course when you go WOT it will make other drivers know you are next to them. If I had to do it again, I would get the muffler added from CPE. It is loud as fuck without one. Hope this helps.

This has been the never ending tuning session. I have had to track down boost leaks, replace a brand new BPV, and now move to a larger nozzle size. On top of all this, Utah whether is crazy, one min its 70 degrees outside then it's snowing. Mr. Finkle has been awesome through the whole process. Rob let me know that around 400 HP will be possible, we just need to get some more octane into the system. D12 nozzle is in the mail.

I would love to post logs but I want to provide accurate information. Remember that I'm at high altitude (5500 FT) with 91 octane gas. Straight 91 will put me in area of 320 safely. With meth we should dial things in right around 400 HP. As soon as these bugs are straightened out I will post up some accurate logs.

These are the last numbers before running out of octane on a D07 nozzle. The car is hitting 20 PSI by 3300 RPM and 25 PSI by 4200 RPM.

I have the same problem. 5000' and 91 here is like 89 in other places. No e85 available either.

I have to travel 45 miles round trip to get my e85. We shall see what happens on a two gallon mix of e85 and a d12 nozzle of 100% meth.

Yes. Not trying to do anything too crazy just end up in the high 300 HP range.

The difference from 5000' elevation to sea level for me is almost 40 HP. @Ziggyboy; I don't think that's weak for Utah 91 at your elevation.
