Default Cobb AP as a coolant temp gauge?

Since coolant temp guage is missing on the MS3, is it possible to use the Cobb AP as a coolant temp guage?

So can I have it plug in all the times?

Thanks.

I think this is a better option:

ScanGauge - Trip Computer + Digitial Gauges + ScanTools
