(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score My gtx2867r leaking so i need new turbo. I dont want to spend too much on the new one so im trying to find the best price/perf bet. Im actually pretty happy of this turbo so i want something similar! Im on stock block(140 000km and BT since the 50 000km). Im running it at 21psi and 500cc WMI. I have a 3.5" intake I think to go with bnr s3 or s4 after a good research but i dont know which one to choose. Gtx2867r seem to be between these 2 turbos. According to circumstances, which one is the best? Thx Last edited by Mini Franki; 08-20-2019 at 10:13 PM. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Its my daily driver, i cant remove the turbo and to send it to garrett. I already bought a rebuild kit but i returned it because my exhaust housing is completly jammed, impossible to remove the bearing. Oil leaking dont really bothered me but at my last oil change(5000km), i had no oil on my stick! So now i probably lose too much oil, i need to fix that |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I agree but its my 2nd speed, 300 000km total and 160 000km total BT and i dont want any another car for my daily. This car is too much fun to drive. Recently did a 120-220kmh against a audi r8 v10, that was equal! This is my motivation to keep a 30k car in live lol |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'd deal with the down time and get it rebuilt. That's a nice turbo. Catch the bus!

| Not Ranked : 0 score You should be able to find a local competent turbo shop to complete the rebuild and balance. In AZ there a few local diesel shops capable of doing our baby turbos. The same could be said for you. Prices always vary.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score For people near to montreal, dont go at blaast performance. Review are not very good For the best job, turbo expert at Quebec I dont have a lot of shaftplay, ill try a banjo bolt restrictor to see if that stop leaking. That seem to leak only on boost because i dont see any smoke when i drive it normally. I already have a sp63 filter on the oil cap for help the pressure in the return line Last edited by Mini Franki; 08-27-2019 at 05:26 PM. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score That maybe can a pcv valve failure? On idle, vaccum is supposed to suck air from my oil breather cap? That actually did the opposite. I feel a little pressure and that throw oil everywhere when i remove the oil breather cap. I have a gen 2 so im not supposed to receive oil from the chain Im now at 145k and i think the pcv never get changed Last edited by Mini Franki; 09-04-2019 at 11:46 AM. |
