Default Only 10psi

Ok, so I installed internals, CS SRI, CPE Catted DP and an ETS TMIC.

I did the internals, CS SRI and AP at same time, got custom tuned and noticed a huge increase.

Install downpipe with same tune, felt slower, which was fine because of the tune wasn't setup for it. Oh, also installed NGK 11's plugs at .26-.28.

Got the TMIC on and got the tune setup for that, holy fuck did I notice a HUGE difference, this was at 18psi.

Next day I flashed a new tune for 19.5 and car only did 10psi. Now car only does 10psi.

I have, flashed back to older tune, uninstalled AP and removed battery connection. Flashed back to stock, same shit, no more than 10psi.

I have since added a full gasket that fits on the flange for the BPV, no change. I then checked for tight connections, they were fine.

Tomorrow I plan on removing the ETS and placing factory TMIC to see if I can get back the lost boost.

I am at a loss and very bummed. I am still getting a P0137 code from the downpipe install, I will be having the o2 sensor tested on Friday but car ran fine with code.

Any hints?

2012 MS3.

Before you remove the TMIC, try doing boost leak test first if you haven't done already. pretty common to have a leak from a shitty BPV seal. You can disable the P0137 through ATR, I believe that is the one usually pops up after a DP. what maps are you using?

I'm using a local tuner that has done a hand full of tunes with good success and has a well tuned 2010.

Well we did but the coupler didn't fit worth a shit, we also cut out a gasket from a perrier box to put on the flange for now to see if it would make any difference.

this stuff here works for pretty good for a gasket. Your tuner "should" be able disable the cel from aftermarket dp. Seriously get a good boost leak check. First thing to check if you aren't hitting boost targets. Get with DFW Nator guys for help.

Cool, thanks for the link, I am going to try finding a better sized coupler tomorrow for the boost leak test. Just not much to look at with a top mount.

But a boost leak makes sense if it was fine the night before and not next day. Just where, lol!

Good luck mang. I was able to pick up rubber reducers from lowes or homedepot, and made my boost leak tester check here.

Is this tuner a member of this site? If so, is he allowed to post? Does he have a Celestial Blue 2010 MS3?

I'm not saying that the tune is the specific cause of THIS problem, but you may find that some folks with experience from the same tuner as you will suggest you look elsewhere to get your car tuned properly.

Stay away from Zack's tuning experiments.
