Default Weird AC/Heater issues

Got a '13 MS3 that has a strange AC/Heater problem. In order for the air to cool, the temp has to be set @ 64 or below. (Below is measured with a thermocouple from the center console; right /left vents)

Yesterday;

Single Mode: If the temp is set @ 66 Degrees;
Left reads 84 Degrees
Right reads 84 Degrees

Dual Mode: If the temp is set @ 66 Degrees;
Left reads 84 Degrees
Right reads 54 Degrees

Single & Dual mode: If the temp is set @ 90 Degrees;
Left reads 124 Degrees
Right reads 121 Degrees

Waited a half an hour, set dual control to ON, set temp to 70 Degrees
Left read 116 Degrees
Right read 118 Degrees

This morning;
Single Mode; 40 Degrees outside, Set the temp to 62 Degrees;
Left read 84 Degrees
Right read 74 Degrees

Dual Mode; right set to 62 Degrees. Left set to 64 Degrees
Left read 80 Degrees
Right read 72 Degrees.

Any one see this before? The only Mods I have are a Cobb AP, fuel Internals, and a Corksport SRI. It only has 10K miles on it, Mazda wants to send an Engineer to look at it. Nice..

Thanks all.

Are you doing this with the AC on, or just vent?

AC is on. Here's a new one this morning; when I was taking it in for service, the controls were turned completely off (no LEDs lit anywhere) and the left vent was blowing air (lowest setting) at 134 degrees, the right vent was blowing nothing. It's in Mazda's hands at this point. Will be interesting to see what they find.

Here's the deal, just in case it happens to anyone else, according to Mazda Engineering.

Freon was over charged from the factory. Almost 2lbs of it..
The passenger actuator door is not working properly - ordered a new one
The fan motor has a bearing issue - replacing today..

Caleb you nailed it man!!
