Anyone got a FP out of the car that could check something?

I'm posting here because a lot of you guys taken fuel pumps apart. I took mine apart to clean and all was going well till one of the torx stripped. I eventually got it out but fucked up and didn't pay close attention to one of the metal washers.

So there is one ring that goes on the bottom with the lip down then there is a another metal ring then plate and wavy washer. I know the order; however, the metal ring is different on both sides and I'm not sure which side should face the pump.

I searched and watched install videos but couldn't find an answer.

Pretty sure that goes under the plate :/ I can't remember without having one out.

You are correct sir I'm not sure which side faces the plate

If memory serves, its actually fairly obvious if you put them together. There's a lip that helps center the puck on one side.

Also, that section of the pump pretty much *NEVER* needs to come apart, unless something blew up in your ITFP and you have shrapnel rattling around in there.

I agree my pump was pretty filthy but that part was super clean and I would not take it apart again.

I think I know the way it goes in, but I wouldn't want to have issues. I think the first image faces away from the pump but I would love to verify it.
