(Thread Starter) | Neutral : +1 score 12-4-2014 UPDATE: VersaTune cheatsheet added; it only uses FSG, at a higher rate to avoid having to do a scalar as well: For mixes below 10%, just use the 10% value. 5-21-2014 UPDATE: No more Google Docs version of the sheet. For the new, standalone HTML version, go here: Fuel mix cheat sheets New Seasonal Blends by Region table (easier to use): Seasonal Blends by Region - Mazdaspeed Forums Mazdaspeed 3/6 Wikispeedia END UPDATE Original Seasonal Blends by Region table: Seasonal Blends By Region For 70%, 75%, 80%, 85% seasonal blends of e85 (ethanol content by volume), also factoring in e10 pump gas. Please let me know if you guys want other blends of e85/e10 done up. E85 beta scalar cheat sheet: ***NOTE*** This cheat sheet is based on the percentage of ethanol in the tank, NOT the percentage of e85 in the tank (ethanol content by volume). See below sheets for actual %E for use in the above table. E70 mix cheat sheet: E75 mix cheat sheet: E80 mix cheat sheet: E85 mix cheat sheet: Actual spreadsheet (which can be modified for other seasonal blends and also has the scalar cheat sheet within it) is also attached now.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I Just realized I should probably post up my method for filling up; the rule of 3. MS3 has 14.5 gallon tank, but reads E at about 2 gallons; I figure each quarter tank is 3 gallons, making 50/50 mix 1.5 gallons per quarter tank or .75 gallons per 1/8th, with half a tank obviously being 3 each and 3/4 fill-up being 4.5. While you may not fill all the way up to the neck with this method, you are less likely to fuck up your mix when doing so.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Unfortunately, that site won't tell you the scalars for the AP, and the mileage shit doesn't apply because we can tune for MUCH better mileage on e85 than a normal, un-tuned flex-fuel vehicle can get (basically close to stock mileage if you keep your foot out of it).

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Cheat sheets version 2! Those of you with Google Drive can save this document locally, export it, or run it directly on your Android device! I've tested this from my Android phone and it does work, though you do have to manually refresh so the calculated values update. My requirements: 1. If you go to use it and see someone else is changing values, please let them finish before you input your own. There is an integrated chat for Google Docs so you can find out how much longer the other person(s) will be. 2. Don't fuck up the maths on this thing or deface it with ascii cocks or anything. I may not be available to fix or reload it; if this gets to be a consistent problem, I'll probably wind up taking it down. With that out of the way, on to the good shit! Here is what it looks like: Some quick notes: 1. The seasonal blend information is editable in the table to the right, and is also included as images embedded directly into the file; these images are also embedded at the end of this post. 2. The manual mix output uses the %Ethanol values you specify in the sheet up top; the seasonal mix output uses the lookup table at the right for minimum ethanol content in said e85 (instead of using the %E value in B1). 3. The "Reblend gallons" value is for when you have a partial tank of mix and have to get fuel from some place that doesn't have corn available. Specify your remaining fuel quantity using the E85 and Pump gallons sections (make sure the manual mix value matches what you are running) and then play with the reblend gallons value to see how much adding pump gas to your existing mix will change your overall percentage. 4. That is all. Here's the link to the spreadsheet; try not to fuck it up: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...0lmUjcwR3R2Ync Seasonal blend information: This version replaces the older one, still available here: Fuel mix cheat sheets

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think the original thread is too valuable to un-sticky, so they're merged ![]() The cheat sheets are a seriously nice quick reference. I use them often when I'm out and don't want to calc this stuff, haha.

| Not Ranked : 0 score What I don't get about this is that even though the MS6 has a 16 gallon tank, it never will fill up 16 gals at the pump. The charts are all based on if you literally put 16 gallons in the tank which I think is impossible. Unless I'm doing something wrong I don't think I've ever filled up past 14 gallons when I take the car till the gas light comes on. and I have everyone telling me that 3 gallons of E85 is all I will ever need. Ok thats great. The problem is partial fill ups. There are going to be times where I can't wait to take the car down till the gas light comes on to fill up. So how do I know for sure what of each type of fuel to put in when I go to the station to partially fill up?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just remember to err on the high side of ethanol. The little bit of leanness you mightbutprobablywont encounter will be offset by the increase in effective octane. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Or if you know how many gallons actually fit, you could always *use the cheatsheets* to figure out how much to use for the mix.

The Injector Scalar table in AP is rounding my value of 1.0266 to 1.03, is that ok?

| Not Ranked : 0 score What you don't want to do is continue to use the "top off" method. Your E concentration will continue to move one way or another depending on which fuel you top off with. Tappin

| Not Ranked : 0 score Good stuff. I should be going BNR S3 soon and have one gas station 2 miles away with 100% pure gas (91 octane) and another 2 miles away currently with E70 (E85 Winter blend.) Mixing 5.25 gal of E70 and 7 gallons of pure gas should give me an E30 mix!

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I've added a secondary tab to the Google Docs spreadsheet calc which has the lambda/afr/max power (lean and rich) info in it across a very wide range; hopefully someone finds it useful, though it isn't specifically required for tuning our cars.
